Wow, thanks! I just got a tracking number, and it actually won't be here til Friday (the VP I talked to said that might be a possibility because he didn't know if FedEx had picked up stuff already).

I'll let you know if I have the same problem. I really appreciate it.

Hopefully I won't need to keep it for very long, though.

I hope so as well, but if the signal bar seems to jump like crazy, just PM me and I will send it out Saturday for you.

I received a phone calk from Verizon's executive offices today, pretty much the same answer everyone else is reported. I can't believe she wasn't aware of the extended return policy or the Nexus email option on Verizon. Talk about not letting your left hand know what your right hand is doing!

Take this left hand/right hand stuff and apply to the WHOLE huge entity that is Verizon and think what your bill could be while they still made good money!

Quick question about video playback capabilities we'll see in ICS or newer phones. Do you guys think it'll be capable of playing back 720p mp4 (h264+aac) or mkv (h264+ac3) video files? I would love to be able to throw full 720p MKV rips of my blurays onto my phone when traveling if it has a 720p screen. So just curious if you guys think it'll have enough horsepower to playback this sort of media.

Does anyone else find it extremely annoying that when you do a search on Verizon for "Nexus" it pretends that you typed "Droid" and highlights that in the search results?

I saw that earlier too. I thought it was strange that they put a DROID 2 at the top of my search results, then the Nexus S directly after, but the RAZR was nowhere to be found in those results. However the gigantic banner ad that blocked everything on my screen, was full of DROID RAZR propaganda.

I see a big banner for Galaxy Nexus, but yeah the first 4 links on the page are for 1. Bionic (rofl), 2. razr, 3. Bionic AGAIN (wtf?) and 4. Droid charge

...new guy to the forum... I have been waiting for the Nexus like the rest of you but,
I held a Rezound today in the store. Excellent 720p display. Not as big in the hand as I thought it was going to feel. It actually felt really nice in my hand. Nice design. 1.5 dual core. 8 mp camera.
Hate to say it but I might not be able to hold on much longer... Somebody slap me and talk me back down...
