Help Ridiculous Slow 3G.

So I have a Cricket verison of The Ascend 2. I know cricket isn't the best service,so please don't say that is the problem.
My woman has the same phone I do, but mine is rooted with the A2tude rom. All was well till recently my 3G became so ridiculous slow. Takes an average of about 15 minutes to download an app, youtube is a nightmare...i have no idea what is wrong. our phones can be side by side and she will get perfect 3g reception while mine is quite horrid.
So before I decide to go to Cricket just to have the ******ed employees try to help...any advice.
Turned on airplane mode, did the *228 thing...nothing fixes it...

Cricket only gives you 1GB of fast 3g data before they throttle you. You're probably over the limit, and your speeds will return to normal when your next billing cycle comes up.

I also have occasional sluggish 3G performance with my Cricket Ascend 2, and it gets worse the longer and more often I use it. I'm no technical guru by any stretch of the imagination, so take this suggestion for what it's worth: Use WiFi whenever humanly possible. You probably already knew that, but I figured I'd mention it.
