No, it means that I have to share that my widescreen THX VHS proving that Han shot first gave up the ghost recently. On that account alone, I retired my VHS player.

I didn't get it digitized in time. Pre-Jurasic Pork Star Wars was the only Star Wars.

There is a heavy sadness in my heart for you. That sucks big time.

Sooo... Off topic posts are still fair game?

Hey Cam,
Now that Oklahoma St lost, And if Alabama loses (Again) What would you think about an Oregon vs. LSU rematch fro the BCS Championship? :)

I see there is at least one other Duck fan here too! :D
Oregon has a great team, and to be honest with ya, I'd rather see a rematch against Oregon than Alabama!

Just returned from my local VZW store. Was definitely impressed with both phones (RAZR and the HTC). Was approached and asked if I was looking to upgrade. I said I was but was waiting for a particular phone to be released. She said "Galaxy Nexus?" When I told her yes she said "that one is definitely worth waiting for."

Nothing new here but she told me they are not often told until a day or two before and sometimes the day of release. She said they hope it comes out before Black Friday. In her opinion the HTC was the next best phone after the Nexus. I was surprised she did not mention the RAZR at all.

Finally...an honest sales rep

Just kidding

I thought it was very good. However if I HAD to settle dirt one of the two it would definitely be the HTC phone. I see no reason not to go with the better screen.

I agree. And on that note...

1 was disappointing, but I blame Jar Jar for most of it.

2 was okay.

I thought 3 was very good.

Man, can you imagine what they would have been with good actors and good dialogue?

Would have been epic.

Sigh.

I would say
1 was enjoyable, but nothing special.
2 was great fun.
3 was the best of the 6, but you have to be invested in the first two to see it that way.

I know ranking Revenge ahead of Empire will earn me some hate, but I stand by it. Empire is excellent, but the way Revenge brings everything together is just awesome.

I'm still torn as to what order they should be watched. I think there's value to seeing them in order, but it does ruin the revelations that happen if you watch 4-6 first.

Oh, and I really want my Nexus. WTH is Verizon doing? Please take my money!!!!!!!!

I don't know. Voldemort looked pretty badass. This makes me think though. I wonder who would win in a fight, Palpatine or Voldemort.

Pfffft. Kirk's trademark phaser and a smirk would prove faster than Dark Side lightning and Spock would have inverted subspace to prevent magical dimension jumping.

(I like Harry Potter, it's fun to watch with little ones. :))

Well i have made up my mind and I am staying with the htc rezound. It truly is a great phone and anyone who gets either 3 phones wins. I will still check out the nexus when it drops to see the hype but with no intention of exchanging. I hope it releases for everyone soon or you get some info.

And thank you phases on your posts. People been giving thanks out like candy. Use to have to say something helpful when i first joines. Good luck to you all

while i do believe that VZ makes most of their money off of contracts/monthly bills, there is still a very good reason for them to want to sell more razr's than gnex's. MORE MONEY. the razr carries bloat, which VZ is paid to include. they won't be getting that money from the gnex. secondly, they have dumped a ton of money into razr commercials and the droid brand as a whole. contracts being equal on each phone, i guarantee you that they would rather every single customer walk out of the store with a razr over a gnex.

I am not familiar with VZ bloatware. How would they make money on it besides pushing more data apps? Is there advertising associated with it?

Also, I have no knowledge on this but I would guess any co-branded advertisement (phone and service) would be more weighted on the phone verses the service with respect who pays for the add. Unless perhaps it an odd contract where the the company actually makes money on the phone. Typically the phone is a money looser, hence the contract pricing.
