[International / GSM] Return to stock?

Being brand new hardware I have some concerns about warranty returns...

I'm coming from an OG Droid that could easily be returned to stock with RSD in the event a warranty return was required.

Is there a way to do this with a Nexus device?

I really REALLY want to root, ROM, and OC this phone, but I can't take a full retail hit if something goes wrong.

Well the first thing you should do when rooting/modding any phone is as soon as you root DO A BACKUP OF YOUR STOCK SET UP.

then you always have that to restore and your back to stock with root.

when you do your first backup. Also keep a copy of that backup on your PC as well.

The files currently on that page are not intended for the Verizon version of the G. Nex,
However, the link you provided,
will be the correct link for the Verizon G Nex SBF as well...
That's where Pete will put em...
His download homepage to all the different carrier versions he's compiled from source.

I'm not worried (much) about bricking it. Mostly concerned about getting the custom recovery/bootloader off of it and flashing the baseband and other firmware back to stock...

Currently, we don't have any sbf files (image files) etc for the VZW Galaxy Nexus
(Tuna... not Toro, if I'm not mistaken) ...
I wouldn't recommend flashing the Maguro file to a VZW Galaxy Nexus.
Again, when official VZW G.N. release gets closer, you will want to download the Tuna sbf, and flash that should you have any bricks/issues with your Verizon Galaxy Nexus.

He is sooooooooooo not good.
You can't become better let alone an allstar by watching and listening while sitting on the sideline for years and years, and years.
You have to get out there and dedicate yourself, live for what you do, for several years.
Greatness like with Manning, is only achievable through natural passion, drive and determination. Having a father like Archie Manning couldn't hurt either.
Painter simply can't and never will fit Peyton's shoes. They're just too big.

Stupid NFL lockout prevented Manning from getting with any of his special rehabilitation & doctors and such that normally help him year round.
Neck surgeries ain't nuthin to f#ck with.

I'm sure he didn't get his insurance off a midnite insurance informercial, using his RUSHcard lol.
The doctors that he needed were all affiliated with the NFL.
The Lockout prevented him from getting with the best of the best, that he goes to year round.
The specialists that know his entire professional medical history, and have all sorts of ninja tricks to heal up right and such.

But back to topic, I wouldn't want a moderator or Admin coming in and slapping me...

No worries people about support for the Galaxy Nexus.
It IS a Nexus, There will be TONS of support in the Dev community.
You WiLL have an SBF / image file to flash your phone back to, should you brick your G Nex.

I'm a diehard Colts fan. I use to go to the training facility when I was a wee lil pup, waaay before Peyton Manning was on the team...
I don't slam anyone, on the team, I only speak the truth.
I think everyone in Indy will agree with me that Painter is NO Manning.
He's Not even close to Peyton's lil brother Eli.

But I do think Android_LIFE has allayed cggorman's fears about being able to return the GNex to stock... One probably shouldn't mess-around with root too-much before the proper stock image is available and the process is nicely documented (I'm betting this will all be out/done before the phone officially hits VZW anyways)--but that's good advice for any phone that's newly-rooted (trophy's published many a sticky warning of just that thing).

I know this may be completely noobish but is there any guide on how to use the stock images to get back to stock? I was able to follow all the steps to root, install recovery and made a nandroid backup. I still feel a bit anxious because I do not know what steps I would need to get back to unrooted stock if needed.
