New HTC Desire is Eris' big brother...darn!

thats actually a nexus one with buttons and sense.
i believe it has a lil spec bump with memory but...waiting until june now to upgrade cause...i HAVE to have this! :)
Yep, I hear ya. Interesting idea to use optical sensor instead of trackball. Snapdragon processor...sigh. We are living in a world of planned technical obsolescence.

These are all several months away, for Europe and Asia.

We won't see these until later in the year probably.

I'd have hoped to see the Invincible on Verizon so I can give my gf my Eris (on Cricket) and get a new one.

I believe, still, the Eris is the best phone that Verizon offers.

Has been since November. I don't feel obsolete.

I agree with you on all counts. I meant that technology is changing so rapidly, it seems like planned obsolescence towards the consumer. But still, ya gotta love it!
