As soon as I've flashed a new ROM, that's one of the first places I visit. The Deus Ex bootanimation is awesome.

Yep, I go there for simple battery changes if the ROM I'm on has the stock battery indicator.

Say Im trying to figure out this UOT kitchen, I have found my framework-res.apk, but where is SystemUI.apk, and com.htc.resources.apk? You need to upload these first I guess so you get the right download from the kitchen in the correct format? any help appreciated

The thing that I find best works for me is to download a fresh copy of your ROM onto your computer, unzip it, and then simply use the search function within that folder to bring up your needed files

Thanks man, learn something new everyday on here! Worked like a charm, our I&C tech is going to jealous at work when he checks out my phone....Its really starting to look and work the way I want it to!...thanks again

The best tool for modding roms or theme files is 7zip....imho.

7zip allows you to open the zip file and drag and drop stuff out and in. Plus when you modify anything it updates the archive without removing the zip signature.

Very nice for themeing.

You did indeed! It's just called Dex.

I need some more info on how to use 7 zip! Is there a guide somewhere on doing your own stuff?

I'm with rcope on that one. How about a dummies guide Mario? I can't get the kitchen to work on my college rom

I keep getting boot loops trying to make this work on Xplod 3 anyone else having problems?

I do Edify Scripting (Recommended) I Use Amon RA 3.08
I have done Amend as well

Update Binary MTD (Default)

Flashing Folders are left at defaults

Patch .9.ping is checked

Theme Chooser Preview is checked

Kitchen Settings Blank

I upload files (Framework,System)

I bake it and download it but when i flash it. I just get boot loops.
