Help [Q] Error package file is invalid

I an error like literaly every time I donwload an app... Error package file is invalid. I have to redownload 2-3 times before it will install if it will install... I have wiped my market data and cache and that didn't help, I've also wiped dalvik cache to no avail... One app that won't install that keeps getting the error is world of goo demo. Which is 27.94MB. Anyone else know what I could do?

Have you tried side loading?

Hate to link to another site but... try this, works really well.

Android Central Sideload Wonder Machine v. 1.2 - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

I can sideload but I can also download and install smaller apps sometimes it take a few tries but it works... Its just the bigger apps will not install no matter how much I try. Also you don't need to use that sideload wonder machine as we can download to our SD cards and install...

So I found out something else (and I'm bumping this)... I will only get this error when downloading apps via wifi... At least at my house... I will try it at McDonalds or something to see if I don't get this error... I can download and they'll install fine via 3g tho... Just that takes forever for large games like world of goo.

I get the same error. Funny thing is, I was erasing google+ so I can reload it, but after downloading it again, that same "package file is invalid" error. I've read other places on the forum that you have to partition your sd card to download bigger , which I did using the cyanogen mod custom recovery. I'm starting too think the link2sd is the way to go. I have the option in the cyanogen settings to install everything to ad card but I'm still confused on how to expand the cache. Again, I think you do that with limited and a program for your PC. The program is escaping me right now. Anywho, of anyone has a simple answer to this dilemma please let us know. Thanks
