Any regret NOT buying the stand when you ordered your Nexus One?

Decided I could live without when I went to place my order. When my Nexus One arrived I immediately wanted the dock but now I've worked out that after tax it'll come to nearly

Well I ordered mine after the event, as it was not out later after I got the phone.

Was worth it even though expensive, just for the overnight charging, desktop clock and music integration.

Oh don't tempt me....damn! I'll try to hold out until someone else in the UK sells it.

Good to see someone's opinion on it though. I'm already loving the clock app for when I go to bed and really think this dock would make it just that much better!

No regrets, as I don't see much advantage to the stand. If it was a horizontal stand, I would have probably gotten it. Plus having an extra battery charger slot would be nice, but that wasn't the deal breaker. I'd want a horizontal dock for bedside alarm clock and movie watching duty.

When it goes into screensaver mode, the time displayed goes a lovely shade of green as well

I regret it not being available when I bought the phone! There's no way I would buy it now with the shipping costs again, that's a ludicrous price for what is essentially a charger.

I'm with mi_canuck, if they release one that's landscape (not too bothered about spare battery slot, don't have a spare battery!) I'll definitely invest. But only from the uk site to minimise shipping

Agreed. Not too bothered about a horizontal or vertical dock but if they release an official one (or even the one that is available now) in the UK I'm jump on that in a heart beat! Next day shipping (most likely) without it being nearly the same price as the dock is a win in my opinion!

Nope. I'm waiting for a dock without blutooth and sound capabilities (I have no use for that, there's already a squeezebox in the living room and the bedroom), but with an extra slot to charge a second battery.

Not bothered at all. Don't need a dock for the phone to work as an alarm.

Wish they'd hurry with the car dock the so I can make my choice.

You can also hook the dock to your nice computer or stereo speakers in the back and stream music to the dock via bluetooth. The dock ALSO has bluetooth and it acts like a bluetooth headphone to the phone when playing music or other sound files. I like LIGHTNING BUG app with it's white noise apps like rain falling or ocean waves coming in. Sounds great on big speakers. The dock also charges the phone so now I have the supplied charger downstairs and the dock charger upstairs.
