i wanted to get an sgp scren protector but looks like they don't have any for the rezound. i saw one for the htc inspire (at&t) and the screen size and shape looks similar. just wondering if anyone has any idea on whether or not these two phone share the same screen size and shape.

I've tried them all at some point or another. My favorites are Clarivue (static application) and Clear Protector (water & soap). Both are available for the Rezound.

Clarivue feels like glass and is scratch resistant and non-adhesive. Uses static (no glue). It can be removed and reapplied easily if you put it on crooked. Or it can be washed, air dried, and reapplied if it gets dirty. Comes in different finishes too: mirror, privacy, anti-glare, and ultra clear.

Clear Protector is like Zagg only a lot thinner and has no orange peel effect. They offer full body protection. These can be removed and reapplied. Clear Protector's warranty is a lot better than Zagg too because when you place a warranty order with Clear Protector you don't return your old screen protector until you have received your new one. So your phone stays protected at all times. Also with Clear Protector if you don't return the old one you simply lose the remainder of the warranty, if you do return the old one your warranty continues. With Zagg if you don't return your old one they charge you full price for the new one which is B.S. cause you paid for a warranty when you bought the original. Clear protector is so much more friendly too. I've screwed up on applying new protectors on various phones and they've sent me new one's free of charge, no shipping or any other charge. They don't always do that for me but the few times they have has kept me as a repeat customer.

As far as durability goes Id say Clear Protector is tougher. But I like Clarivue best because there is no water involved and no drying time. They both offer the same warranty.

Quick tip when applying any screen protector. Obviously clean the screen with a solution. Then use scotch tape to remove any dust. Works flawlessly for me every time.

I had heard the SGP is not planning to do any SPs for the Rezound. Given that there are still none available that's certainly looking to be true.

not necessarily true. i think it was over a month before sgp put out screen protectors for the inc2. but yeah i've read a few posts saying that sgp CS says they aren't planning on making any.

Where did you hear this? You do realize that bearers of bad news were often killed in olden days!

I suspect it will be soon before they release a Rezound version. I can't imagine why they'd turn down that business. The Rezound is popular and will only continue to be a good seller for a very long time.

You're right. I contacted them and got this response:

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

That really sucks. What an idiotic company. To turn down a popular product, just because they don't feel like it.

For those who have tried both (it could be on another phone), do you prefer the Seidio or the Clarivue (or another dry application screen protector)? Anti-glare or clear? Thanks for any input. I have a cheapie one on my Rezound right now that looks pretty junkie so I would like to replace it.

Think a clear is only way to go
