Aloha all. first time poster, btw this phone rocks.

so the other day my girlfriend decided to go skipping around the house with my phone in her hand and of course all good things have to come to an end, so it felt and split it 2.

there are plastic slider parts that i need and a new ribbon * from graphics to screen *

my screen isnt cracked but the ribbon is ripped. where can i buy a new one and if theres a tutorial on how to fix that would be excellent, thanks for your help guys.

Hey WTF's the matter with you guys? The poor bastard comes here for help, and all you can do is mock him? I'm pretty sure he said something to the effect of "Thanks. What a great Fing help you are." Wouldn't that be any one of your initial reactions?

Whoever banned him should have deleted this thread. In less than 17 hours this thread has had more than 200 views, so it stands to reason that others are interested in the topic, too. What they will find, however, is a prime example of just how unhelpful too many members here can be.

Parts can often be had off of Ebay. I used to rebuild V3ms and K1ms (Razrs & Krazrs). Bricked phones go for a bit, but abused or water damaged phones will still have great parts and often go cheap. Screen replacement is always a gamble, even from a reputable resource. But the components the OP seeks are probably not damaged in even the worst cases of "For Parts Or Repair" sales on Ebay.

As for repair instructions, I don't know of any. BUT, I do know of great photos from a site that takes new phones apart to see what makes them tick. Many are familiar with Phonewreck.com.
They have great photos of the Droid in various stages of disassembly.
On their site, they show 10 great pictures, each of which can be clicked on for a larger shot. I also found some additional photos of the individual internal components on their site, as well.
