need a bit more info... did you change builds if so what build are you on you formated the sd did you format the entire thing and what kind of partition did you make? EXT2, Fat32 NTFS??? these things all matter if you formated the sd with an unreadable partition than it may cause the phone to get stuck try removing the sd card and rebooting if that isnt it I would try flashing the phone or restoring your previous build...

Try removing the Battery for about 2 minutes ...

then... you can try a SAFE MODE Boot

You Need to hold the "MENU" key for a long time ... to make sure that none of the normal background programs get loaded into memory ...

The Safe Mode words are very light (transparent) in the lower left corner of the screen ....

So start by holding down "MENU" key then press Power ... continue hold "MENU" key until you see the "Safe Mode" words on the desktop screen.

Note if there are apps that you want to run that normally run at startup ... you will need to run them after the boot-up ... by selecting them manually ..

also what were you running Build wise before trying to do AppsToSD ?

ok how much of the sd card did you partition? as far as the sd you can reformat through a card reader if needed and copy files to it or if you can get to the fastboot screen holding down camera+power you can download a set of image files to restore your phone...

ok if you can get into the recovery screen on the phone try installing this (rename to update.zip)... http://www.getyourdroidon.com/root/EngBootloader_v2_NoSigCheck.zip if it works you should have the fastboot screen if you can get that far i can give you a set of images to restore your phone to working order from there it'd be up to you.....

reboot the phone start it by holding down home+power if your rooted you should see what looks like a fingerprint with yellow text if it's not you should see a yellow caution sign in the center of the screen... when your there hit alt+l to view text... then hit alt+s to install an update.zip or the bootloader... personally i would do both reinstall your build and bootloader so that you can run fastboot and nandroid in the future and always have a fail safe to avoid situations like this......
