Is there anything faster then PDANET? too slow for me

Is there anything out there faster then PDANET for the droid? Im on the road alot and need quick internet, i mean its manageable but pretty slow no matter how many 3G bars i have. Im using it via USB.
Please let me know il pay if i have to!

if your phone is already rooted and you have the latest SPrecovery on there just dl Bugless Beast from alldroid.org and run the update.zip, bam done

I did purchase PDANet just to have it in case I really needed it But the only things I've used it for so far has been to run Speedtest.net to compare it's USB with Wireless AND Bluetooth tethering... I found USB PDANet to be almost full 3G speed (so fastest) when compared with Speedtest run directly on the Droid...

if you have SPRecovery 99.3 on your phone then you can run the update.zip pete from alldroid.org has and then dl the wireless tether app. install via astro and bam u got wireless tethering and I can vouche that it is ver fast and pretty sweet

sholes.info has switched to droidmod.org, dl the DMUpdater from there website and follow the steps.

Buddy of mine used tether.com on his blackberry then downloaded pdanet after i suggested it. He ran speed tests and pdanet was around 400/500 kbps and tether.com software was around 900. Its expensive though.

They have a androidroid beta version, but I signed up early this week and have received nothing from them yet.

I just used the DMupdater to root my phone for the first time and got the 2.0.6 droidmod rom specifically because I wanted wifi tethering to use with my netbook for work and play. I am currently typing this on the netbook using the Droid as a wifi router. I'm not a tech geek. It could not have been easier. Everything works and I lost no data. The phone seems smoother and faster too. If you need or want wifi tethering, I highly recommend the DroidMod (formerly Sholes) updater and their latest rom.
