XO Skins Installed with fit pics, Perfection!

Awesome Skin. I am using this and it's incredible. Best protector I've ever seen/used. It fits the edges and my case goes right over so there are literally ZERO edges showing besides the speaker/light cut out. I asked my roommate to play with my phone (he has a Gnex as well that's 100% naked) He just looked at my shit and played some games for almost 10 minutes. I took it away and asked him if he liked my screen protector. He laughed. He couldn't even tell I'd installed it. This was next day of application. They are crazy smooth, crazy easy to install, slight and I mean almost microscopic on the orange peel effect (and I can ONLY see it when the screen is off), completely clear with zero blurring/miscoloration. Only downside I see is that oils from my skin stick to it a bit more than the regular glass. But far less than any other screen protector I've ever used/seen.

I will buy another. Roommate also bought one. I am now an XO kid for life. Excellent product.

Got mine and installed it yesterday. Looks great, you can't really tell it's on there!

An observation and a couple tips:
- Maybe my screen protector was cut a little short, but it didn't completely cover the phone from top bezel to bottom bezel. It was probably less than a millimeter difference which to me wasn't a big deal. Paired with the diztronic tpu case the entire area is covered, no open spaces.

-To help eliminate dust, I applied it in the bathroom after turning on the shower and creating a little steam to moisten the air.

- Don't freak out when you first apply it and you still see white spots that look like bubbles after squeeg'ing the screen for excess solution and eliminating air bubbles. It was my first time applying a wet screen protector and I thought I did a crap job, but when I let it sit overnight all of the spots disappeared.

Thanks for this.

Any issues with the solution getting into the phone itself? I hate the idea of wet application protectors for this reason, but would love to hear your thoughts.

I'm not sure where the space between the phone and the bezel leads to, but I guess there's that risk it goes somewhere inside its not supposed to go. The instructions say to power your phone off and take the battery out when applying the protector I'm guessing to prevent something from shorting out.

After applying the protector I was real careful trying to squeegee away from the ear piece since its the only thing really open on the front besides the front camera lens.

I haven't ever had an issue installing these. Just have a paper towel handy to dab and hold your thumb over the speaker when you squeegee near it. Also squeegee away from openings.

Agree on all three points. And when squeegeeing, yes do go away from the earpiece although I had a giant overflow of solution hit the earpiece and it didn't do anything, but maybe I just got lucky.

Also, when you get it. Read the directions and especially the "Tip: xxx" areas.

Here is a 50% off coupon for XO: cyberxo2011
Just tried this code and although it claims it is good for 50% off through the end of month, the math on the checkout page really only gives 20% off.

I went with the more recently posted sprintxo which gives 30% off and despite the details saying the code should be expired, it did deduct 30% leaving me with a bill of $11.98 shipped.

Thanks AF community!

BTW... Their Customer Service sucks. I used Google Checkout which had an old address of mine. I know I should have checked the address first. I tried to find a customer care line, but all they had was email. I emailed them twice - once 2 minutes after the order and once that afternoon. I never hear back from them and two days later they send me a shipping notification with the wrong address still.

Between that and their horrid website, I can't recommend these folks. Their product might be awesome, but come on now.

I found this number on google. (801) 769-6316 I would call them if I were you. I have been using them for years and haven't had any issues.

I put on the XO screen protector yesterday and it doesn't affect the screen (as far as I can tell). I do feel a little more drag on my thumb, but I'll probably get used to it after a few days.

However, I'm really annoyed with the speaker cut out. It's too wide! Also, the protector is too short by about 2-3mm. How hard is it to make a product that fits exactly right?!

It makes my baby look like some cheap Android that I bought off the street.

I'm looking at the website and there's a product called "Samsung Galaxy Nexus Screen Protector" and another one called "Samsung Galaxy Nexus Screen Protector Case Fit."

Which one did you guys order and what's the difference between the two, if any?

The site says the case fit is smaller.

I ordered the non-case fit and it still doesn't fit right.
