As i looked into various threads i See many people struggling with their 4G recently. So i'm here to show you a way to get it back..;

OK. This will work as same thing has happend to me. Dont panic !There is a way for you to get your 4g back.

This method is to fix and reset 4g in general , so it should work;

First of all, download an app called "any cut" free from market. Then after it downloads and installs, go home screen and create a shortcut >then select > activities > and then select the "any cut" app. After that it'll send you to the app and from there you have to press on "activities" option and Scroll down until you see "LTE configuration" (its mostly the first one that starts with LTE). Then as you select that it will have created a shortcut action on the home screen. You then go to home screen and look for the shortcut you have created, it'll be called *lte configuration*. Open it and then press on setting initialization. Now, it will reset your lte settings and the phone will reboot. After that you should be able to be running 4g nice and clean...

Hope it helps ...

That didnt work for me. I would click Activities and select any cut and then it would ask me if i wanted to edit shortcut. If I say yes, its a black screen of nothing and if i say no it takes me to the home page where is see the icon. If i click on it, the same thing happens with the "edit" stuff...

No no. As you are in the process of opening any cut. You then select "activities", remember you will have to wait a few seconds because its going to load up lots of activities. So the fact that the screen is black at first means that it's loading up to show all the activities you wish to configure... so be patient and wait until you see all the activities, then you follow up with the instructions.

I had that problem and sometimes still do but when I do come across that,all I do is turn my wifi on at home once its connects wifi I wait then turn it off and my 4g comes back on sounds crazy but it works for me.

Yeah. That relatively works , but not that effective. I have done it. But their problem is more complex. So this method allows you to brings back 4g by force regardless of any modification you have done to the mobile network..

It works! But like to add one thing. It locks up the phone at the LG screen and if it does that to you don't panic. Just pull out the battery. Leave it out for ten seconds. put it back in the phone might go to the metropcs sceen and stay there for a while after you boot but be patient. Once the phone is booted YOUR 4G WILL BE RESTORED! THANKS AGAIN!

I didn't have 4G for two days, and I was considering a Factory Reset, and going to the Metropcs store. My girlfriend was getting 3G on her crappy Metro phone, but I couldn't get it on my Esteem. I followed the steps he said above, and It quite literally fixed my problems instantly.
I want to thank you for posting this up. It was driving me nuts not to have internet on the go, since I'm always on the go.
