So i updated my HTC ChaCha android version to 2,3,5 and upon restarting i noticed that the updates under the clock on the main screen doesn't work anymore, i can press it and it goes to my twitter & facebook updates no problems at all and i can see there has been new posts on both twitter & facebook but it doesn't display on the main screen under my clock if you understand?

Everything else seems to be absolutely perfect with the phone though except this, is there something that changed to stop it showing updates on your main screen or has it disabled something that i need to re-enable i have looked everywhere but can't find it anywhere. Sure it's not a big deal but it was nice to see when new posts and tweets were posted up without having to jump into both Facebook & Twitter to see.

Hope someone can give me a hand, on another note is there anywhere i can find about how this LINK thing works? reason i'm asking is that my daughter has a facebook page (she hasn't posted her mobile number on facebook) and i have her phone number obviously in my mobile, but there is no way that i can see for me to link my contact that i entered manually to her facebook page, is it because she doens't have her mobile number on her facebook or something else? some info would be awsome.

HTC ChaCha is a really nice phone though so glad my wife bought it for me for my christmas, first android phone and i got to admit i will never ever go back to anything else :)

Wow, I have same situation here! Also got it on Christmas & first Android phone, couple of days everything was ok, but after update (today) I have this "no recent updates" on my homescreen. It's really annoying as I find this feature very important, so to me it is a big deal for sure. :(

Well if i find the cure or you find the cure post it here so we can both sort it out :)

Yea i have worked out the linking thing it was actually quite easy once i sat down and looked and played around with the phone. Still can't get this damn update thing to work so for now i have removed it from my phone and just using the clock / weather widget instead. Although would prefer my updates.

I didn't manage to work out how to resolve it mate sorry, but i noticed a few weeks ago when i added the widget again that it started to work again, i have no idea why it started to work again but it did, however i don't use it anymore i just use the clock and weather widget now but hopefully you can find a resolution mines was to remove and ignore it until a few weeks ago where i decided to see if it had started working again lol.
