How to install with CWM
(the improper way that is)

- download... unzip the file in to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/
- reboot into cwm
- BACKUP YOUR PHONE NOW!! (save a backup on your desktop!)
....after backup....
- wipe data/factory reset
- yes -- delete all
- backup and Restore
- advanced restore <=------<<<
- MrReeRom
- Restore system
- Yes -Restore System
- Reboot

If you get an md5 error ---> try downloading zip again

- first reboot will take about 2-5 mins
- once finally loaded let the phone sit for another 3-5 mins to load all the applications for the first time
( you might have a "dock rubish data" notice, its ok... will be gone after first reboot)
- reboot
- set up your wifi and blue tooth first, then set up the auto bluetooth and auto wifi, then reboot one last time
you should now have a very fast and smooth phone
check out all the added apps and widgets
enjoy

****** If Upgrading From a Prior Version *******
If you are upgrading for a previous version of MrRee?

To Change The Font:

im going to be working on the rom again (i havent had time last few weeks) and the next release will have lots of fonts for you to choose from... but for now you can do this...:

google a font that you like (.ttf file ONLY).
save the ".ttf file(s)" on your sd card in the folder ".fontchanger"

- find/open "Font Changer" an app already installed on MrRee???Rom
- allow "SU" if you have not already
- read what it says
- in the "Basic" tab long press on "Droid Sans"
- click "Set"
- you'll get a popup that has a folder and say "backup"... click on "DroidSans.ttf"
- click "Apply"
- click "Reboot now"

Default Font => DroidSans.ttf - DroidSans-Bold.ttf

ok . I forgive you . :)

this rom might not work with sprint but... try this if you would like...

if you get an md5 error
to creat a new md5
you will need to either adb or use Terminal Emulator

make a copy of your last cwm backup
rename the newly copied backup folder that looks like "2012-01-08.04.36.48" to " MrReeRom2 "
open the MrReeRom0.2.zip
copy the " system.ext4.tar " into your new MrReeRom2 folder
rewright over the old one

now go into adb or Terminal Emulator and type:
--------------------------
adb shell <--- skip this line if using Terminal Emulator

cd /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/MrReeRoM
rm nandroid.md5
md5sum *img > nandroid.md5
reboot recovery
--------------------------

now do a normal recovery with cwm

good luck

I don't know if this matters but with a little manuvering in wifi tether the galaxy s2 profile the steps pass for what I believe to be an infrastructure network. The only issue is that I haven't been able to see the network. I tried manually putting in the name but it still wasn't found. Perhaps we are getting a little closer...

That's not the point. I now have two "useless" android devices bc they can't get the internet from my phone. I'm not interested in adhoc. It sucks. Devices remember adhoc and then try to recreate the network by themselves without the phone involved. I hate having to delete the network just to connect to it every time. I connect at least 5 devices to my phone. I need structure. I had it with my prevail and it was flawless, seemless, no problems, no worries.
I lack the know how beyond network manipulation and hardware. I know nothing about coding or dissecting a driver. What I know is that there are more capable people who could get this working and that's why I posted this on the site

J61101... it will get done... just got to give it some time... don't worry, this phone will be dicected and improved just like the prevail... I used to be one the prevail until thye ultra came out, I think this phone is way better out of the box than the prevail is all supped up with custom roms and kernels. Imo
