Help how to upgrade 4.0.1 to 4.0.3?

i9250 (GSM) is still officially on 4.0.1, i515 (CDMA) is on 4.0.2. The only way to get 4.0.3 on either is to root and rom.

Not necessarily true, Many GSM users have received the 4.0.2 update, then we thought it was put on hold.

But about two hours ago, I received an update, and sure enough my GSM Nexus is now on 4.0.2

I checked manually for updates when I got the phone last month and was told I had the latest version. In my ignorance, I assumed this was 4.0.3, but must have been wrong. I got told this morning that an update is available from 4.0.1 to 4.0.2.

Not knowing how long the update will take, I'll put off updating until I've got more time.

Thanks. Having not updated many Android devices before, I don't know how long an 8MB update is likely to take to install. Wolfedude88's post gives the impression it didn't take long.

I'm getting fed-up with my phone reminding me already. I would have thought that clicking on "later" would stop the phone reminding me for at least a few hours.

Got notification of 4.02 first thing this AM..

Updated, (quite quick, couple of minutes..) seems OK except it couldnae work with my home WiFi until I re-booted the router.

Anyone know (or can point to where differences are described..) what the changes are in 4.02 and/or 4.03 please???

Cheers!

Google initially had the OTA out in 4.0.2 last month but they pulled it but they recently started rolling out again.

If your firmware is not the factory google image (yakju) you may not be able to get the OTA. I was intiailly on yakjuux which was the Samsung build and I decided to flash it with the google factory official images using fastboot and changed it to yakju.

As for 4.0.3, no factory image is available as of yet from Google.
