    hey guys,
so i saw that some people were interested in having more then one rom up and running. while you can't have dual roms running at the same time but there is an app that will allow you to boot up into 5 different roms. it is pretty sweet. i have not tried it on the evo 3d. but it does work on the evo so i do not see why it would not work.

here is a thread that i started for the evo when i first heard about it:
    http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...l-boot-up-4-additional-roms-your-sd-card.html

please read this post as it has a nice breakdown of how this works:
    http://androidforums.com/3358864-post97.html

here is the direct link to the dev's official manual and it has a nice video on how to use it:
    Boot Manager User Guide

    here is the xda thread:

    and finally the market link:

been trying to get this thing working on my phone for the past few hours. so this is what i did as i was getting a failed to make a boot.img file. looks like twrp uses tar files rather then .img files. so i used rom manager(i know what y'all are thinking but it is the quickest way and i could not find the file for clockwork mod fast enough:p). i made a nandroid backup and then pulled the boot.img file from the nandroid and then moved it to sd card/bootmanager/phonerom folder.

after that i then installed my first rom in slot 1. i choose the mikrunny rom v 1.02
and i keep getting a error building new boot .img. ugh!!!!!!

gonna do some more research tomorrow (i mean later today. lol)

I bought that right when it came out back when i had my og. I had a few problems with it. Giving me SD card errors while booted in phone rom, when i had to unzip phone ROM. There was a few times I had to just nand restore. I'll give a better write up later.I'm on my way to work and its a lot to type but i will update with the problems I personally had with it once I get home.

ok so not all roms will work on this. i found this list on the dev's website:

edit: sorry but that was for the sensation and not the shooter(3d). ooops.

let us know what works and does not work. so far i can't get mikrunny working.

I haven't evn installed on my 3d yet. I got an hour drive home I'm gonna install and play with it tonight. I know it doesn't support ics roms also when i did use it whenever I installed an aosp ROM it would keep telling me I need to install gapps after I already flashed it. My main problem with it was a few times upon rebooting it would have an SD card error and want me to format which I had to do a couple times. My card is a 16 g class 10 that i bought just to he able to use that app. Let's just say I was disappointed. I like my mem card though. : )

Okay well I installed last night. Setup my phone ROM with viper ROM that I'm running now. Then started installing otxe it went through all the steps then gave me an error. And also said there was a liscence issue. I didn't have much time to play with it but not a good start.. IMO the only reliable method is filling the slots with nand dumps .
