I think this should work better. This weekend I plan on making a grid using my screen so I know where docks and status bars are. This one I just used your screen shot.

It was more than just BW, Google Maps and Weather Channel app were showing me there too. It is VZW's location services, I just went to the window and when GPS found me, it snapped to my actual location, but I stepped away from the window, and when GPS lost signal, my location snapped back to NYC.

Very very strange.

We are having network issues, all local calls are going to voicemail, apparently there was an equipment failure in Macon this morning, so I wonder if that is causing the problem. Verizon is sure having some big problems keeping their network fully functional lately.

Thanks. After looking at it I really only like the reflection on the soft keys. Lol.

I was trying to find a mod to do just that, but, i killed the phone and boot looped yesterday. Just to be safe.....i used this one instead. And actually i really like the lockscreen mod too, plus I changed the color on my buttons to match what I wanted anyways. There are several different selections on the rootz site, depending on what you want to show up for the lock screen. i am finding it actually a lot more responsive than the stock one, and helpful if I had forgotten to turn sound down in a meeting or something like that....quick access to the msg or phone or whatever you want.

BB, it did work. But I think I may go with this:

Search bar gone. Notification Bar gone. Gray bar along bottom gone. Messaging, phone, gmail and browser+ in one folder in bottom corner.

Guess I should go stand in the corner and sulk, huh?

Actually what has stopped me from doing much with the phone is my PC and driver issues. Do you need to use ADB to flash roms or kernels or can you use rom manager?

Do I need to sign back into google after flashing a rom or kernal or activate my phone?

You don't need adb for flashing roms. The PC is helpful for downloading the zip files but not necessary. I only use rom manager for backing up. Otherwise I go into recovery manually and flash from there.

Yes, Google sign in for market and gapps.

Oh yeah, no sulking. Its all good. Everyone at their own pace.

I've been looking forward to some transparency mods for aokp. Eye candy for me. Finally I see one hit the boards by "fatsix" it's the notification bar. Working only with 16a build atm, but it looks pretty cool.

I just flashed Black Exodus. Can I now flash the circle mod over that? I'm on M2.
I'm asking because I don't know the particulars of battery mods and the system ui stuff and what would change.
I don't wanna break it.


And after about a 10 minute panic I realized I wasn't able to find my nandroid because I was in the wrong location. I hate when I have a dumbass moment.

My previously level of +5 is now loud in my headset, but sitting at my desk I don't want to play out of my speaker.

Whoever posted about that Mountek Car Dock I want to salute you! Just got it today. With a dremel I was able to modify the bottom cradle (I know you can detach it) to fit my 3.5mm cable. Charger fits fine w/o modification and power/volume buttons are accessible. The CD mount holds super tight, I love it and am happy for this accessory, my first for the GN!
