Help Wifi calls on g1 problem

Ok guys so here we go any trouble shooters out there? I am trying to make a call on my G1 from work on the WIFI net work it wont let me tells me "connection problem or invalid MMI code"

Yeah, it's because you can't make calls on WiFi.

This phone is like the Shadow, Dash and Wing. Wifi but no UMA calling. Can we get this thread moved to the G1 section, it's not android related.

SUX!, i was hoping for WiFi calling, as T-Mobile signal strength sucks where I live.

any idea how I can make it better? I have to stand by the dorn window all the time I'm on the phone.

You can get an antenna booster that sticks to the window, no connection to your phone or anything like that just stick it on the window, I have one in my 18-wheeler because of the density of the cab and it helps so much even when im just near the truck.
