Android devices are released

Found this article:
Asus: Don't Expect Transformer Prime TF700T Until After June | TechnoBuffalo

Now, the title says until after June, but the article says "the company said those in the U.K. shouldn’t expect the Prime HD to hit before June at the earliest" which means that it could launch in June, but don't expect it earlier than that.

Still means that I have a few months to wait...

I cant see the ASUS 32 gig model being $600, with the new Ipad 32 gig costing $500. ASUS would be smart to price it just below the new IPAD.

The iPad 2 32gb is $500, but that doesn't have the retina display. The new iPad 32gb is $600, but that has a higher resolution display and a larger battery.

Frankly I'm mostly worried about battery life on the TF700T, since it's the same size as before, but it's pushing quite a bit more pixels.

Hello! I am thinking about either purchasing this tablet or the transformer pad infinity 700 from bestbuy or the like for college. I will (of course) be purchasing this with the docking station (I'm assuming that'll come out to be around $750) so that I'm able to take sufficient notes..

I was wandering if I should wait until this one comes out or if I should go with the transformer prime instead. I do like the fact this one has 1920x1200 but I need it before august. I also am aware the current transformer has some issues with wifi and gps signals but I'm not quite sure as of yet..

Decisions decisions..

I also do plan to surf the web *a lot* on this tablet and view different things on it. I also am a tablet gamer. I might also put CM9 on the device when it's released if I feel like it would be beneficial.

Thanks

I've seen the 201 disappear as if there was a recall. Strange that Frys, Bestbuy, and Microcenter, are all out after running them at $499.

Don't want get caught with them?

How could Asus let all sales go to IPad for three months?

i dont know where you are located but any of the stores in my area (southern va) cant keep them on the shelves long enough to stock them so most of the time you have to order them unless you get their as soon as the shipment comes in. I ordered my 201 yesterday and will have it by wednesday from the local best buy.
also gamestops in my area are the only place i know that stocks them, because people probably dont even know that they carry them
