Poll, will the HTC Incredible have a red back and speaker?

I thought I would post a thread with a poll about whether we think the Incredible will have the red back and earpiece or one or the other or none.

Or any other hypotheses people may have!

Regardless, it's nothing a can of high gloss spray paint from Home Depot can't fix.

Didn't see a kickstand in the video, but I agree on the snap on back cover. I would be a good accessory for Verizon to sell don't you think? Sounds like something Verizon would do.

I think it's just prototype stuff. It will be mostly black/grey as that's what Verizon likes to do for their phones, the whole business aspect and all.

I just read on gizmodo australia that HTC usually uses bright colors in their prototypes. Whether that is true or not, I don't know.

Could very well be just a prototye version. It seems they have that red mess ear covering on alot of proto types.

I think the red back and red earpiece will stay. In the pictures of the back, the HTC Incredible name impressed into the back and the little Android man make me think it will stay around. Too much detail on it just for a prototype. And I like the red earpiece so I hope it stays.

And for every person like yourself that likes the red.....there are 4 or 5 more who feel the complete opposite and hope that it's a prototype only, and won't be on the final release.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had two different versions. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a snap on back cover and an accessory could be bought to replace it with. I wouldn't be surprised if it is replaced with a black/grey cover (as xmonkey suggested). But I *WOULD* be surprised if the red is the final version, and no "other" version and no "accessory replacement part" is offered.....

I know we're all talking about color schemes, but more than anything, I hope that the phone just has a sturdy feel to it. My company provided us with the HTC Ozone, and although it is not the caliber of the upper-end HTC phones, it still has the same kind of thin, flimsy feel as my buddy's HTC Hero, and the N1.

I'm definitely not a lover of the iPhone, but what I do like is that it feels and looks as if it is worthy of being considered a high-end product.

I agree, however, I hope it isn't heavy (like the droid and devour). They feel like bricks. 4.5oz or no more than 4.75 ounces would be fine. I don't think weight necessarily corresponds to high quality either. It's the materials, right? So higher quality plastics would be good. Even a light-weight aluminum metal. I think the HTC imagio is heavy too. I'm just afraid this phone is gonna be like a brick. I don't need a sag in my pants from my phone :-(

I have to say the glossy red backplate is growing on me but it's pretty clearly going to be interchangeable. Verizon is going to start a new market, cell phone backplates instead of faceplates. Makes sense, afterall people see the back of your phone more often than the front.
