rename all chinese language folders like 700升级2.3 to 700_2.3 as it give errors

EXTRACT APandroid2.3w700.rar PASSWORD IS longgewansui
IN EXTRACTED FILES EXTRACT APandroid2.3w700 AND GOTO APandroid2.3w700/AP YOU WILL AGAIN FIND APandroid2.3w700 FOLDER
BRING THIS FOLDER TO A DRIVE'S ROOT'S IT CONTAINS FILES AS IT GIVES MANY ERRORS
APandroid2.3w700\AP\APandroid2.3w700
COPY THE INTERNAL APandroid2.3w700 INTO OTHER DRIVE
LIKE D:\APandroid2.3w700
(WHERE APandroid2.3w700 CONTAINS FILES LIKE RECOVERY ,BOOT,ETC)

STEP 1

POWER OFF YOUR PHONE
PRESS VOLUME UP AND POWER BUTTON UNTIL SCREEN TURNS GREENS
(DONT WORRY IT WILL GO BLACK IN 2 SECONDS ITS NORMAL)
LEAVE THE BUTTONS THEN PLUG USB IN IT
GOTO DEVICE MANGER IN YOUR PC'S CONTROL PANEL
YOU WILL FIND APX IN OTHER DEVICES THEN
RIGHT CLICK AND UPDATE DEVICE DRIVERS
SELECT THE USB PC DRIVER FOLDER UNDER CHINESE FOLDER AND ALLOW IT TO BE INSTALLED
SORRY NO APX IN MINE AS DRIVERS ARE ALREADY INSTALLED

OPEN APP IN NVMULTIDOWN

SELECT THE FOLDER D:\APandroid2.3w700(WHERE APandroid2.3w700 CONTAINS FILES LIKE RECOVERY ,BOOT,ETC) IN MULTIDOWN WHERE ALL FILES ARE PLACED .TICK OPTIONS IF YOU LIKE ANY
KEEP MULTIDOWN OPEN
AGAIN INSERT BATTERY VOLUME UP + POWER PHONE ON TILL SCREEN GOES GREEN
CONNECT USB

THE PROCESS WILL AUTOMATICALLY START

If the download process or the phone off the USB cable is not connected properly, it will download fails, then the state identification block is red, that is now failing, you can re-download to solve similar problems, as shown in Figure 10:

the known bug is Distance sensor is invalid (call for off-screen when the need to manually press the power button, then you can light up)

in china the development of w700 is similar to zte blade in india so they are coming with more and more stable 2.2 and 2.3 roms
ics within 4 months

performance in official rom is too bad as it by mmx but the rom is currently not stable buy the phone the phone is superb valued now that we have the kernel soooooo

And how about the normal battery backup? still we can use a whole day or multiple charging is needed?

the battery backup is same in both roms till now as the rom is unstable
and normal battery backup is 1 day with normal not high usage

Hi,

Its been 5 days since I upgraded my MMX a85 to Android 2.3.4 and below are my observations:

1. The Battery backup is quite same.
2. The phone goes to sleep of death(SOD) every random hour, and even the phone started to restart like a loop after enabling the wifi(happened once, and I had to take out the battery and restart the phone)
3. The GPS is not working at all, It cannot determine location(I tried it in multiple locations)
4. Screen doesn't go off when brought near to ear, but once you do proximity calibration It works fine however once If you reboot the phone then you will need to again calibrate the proximity sensor in order for the screen to go off when brought to ear in a call.

I will be testing more and will keep updating on the performance.

Hey how did you root your phone. I tried to root with z4root and superoneclick ...both did't work. I need to backup using titanium backup before following your tutorial but it requires root access.

I have another doubt, you could easily revert back to factory reset to get back the factory rom I guess by holding down the power and volume button button and wait till the screen shows factory reset. Please try it and reply.

yup you can goto factory reset by pressing the button but the factory reset will be of the current rom like for 2.3.4 it will be same just apps and data will be delted

I have been experimenting on HTC G1 ...but no matter how many ROMS u change on it ...it goes back to its cupcake 1.6 version upon factory reset, not the factory reset on the phone soft button(this does what you said) ...but the factory reset we get when holding the power and the volume key, and again it is may be because it has an unlocked bootloader. Will have to learn more.
