I'll list the steps in order of what i did to reach this point.
1) I Backed up my information before doing anything yesterday.
2) I Downloaded gingersteem/ and plaque expert to the root of my phone.
3) I flashed gingersteem and plaque expert onto my phone.
4) While using both of those modifications i was unable to get apps like facebook, 4 shared, twitter. The market continued to say they wern't compatible with my phone.
5)I started to get frustrated so i deleted gingersteem/plaque expert off the root of my phone and attempted to recover my old information using ClockworkMod recover v5.0.2.8
6)During my recovery i got a md5 mismatch error? So i was unable to recover.
7)Also my phone isn't showing up on my computer anymore so i cant acess the interal/external sd card via mass storage.
8) Everytime i boot up my phone it heads straight back to recovery.
- What should i do from this point on?

Maybe I suck at reading comprehension but there seems to be some conflicting information so Ill just ask this, have you tried the exitrecovery.zip or have you tried flashing another rom?
I can't flash another rom because your phone cant connect to your computer with mass storage via recovery mode. No i have not tried exitrecovery.zip

What he means by "losing access" is that his LCD Density wasnt correct and was at the stock GSE setting of, I believe, 220. Also, the Exit Recovery Fix can be applied just by placing the Ecitrecovery.ZIP onto the SD Card by placing the External SD Card(If you have one, if you don't then get one temporarily from another device or buy one) and placing the SD Card back into the phone and installing the ZIP from Recovery(Don't Wipe Data, Cache OR Dalvik) and then reboot.

Once rebooted into GSE if you are going to keep it, go into ROM Toolbox, scroll over to Performance, select "build.prop Tweaks" and change LCD Density to 240(Nothing More And Nothing Less), go to Setting -> Applications -> All
Select Market and Clear Cache(FIRST) and then Clear Data(Second). Clear those IN ORDER! Then reboot and you will be all good to go.

The ExitRecovery.ZIP will make it to where you won't boot loop into recovery and be able to boot into the OS. The LCD Density will make the phone compatible again with any/all applications that were able to access before. Do those 2 things and you will be able to boot every time into the OS and install/use anything/everything you were able to before.

There are a couple other roms available atm but my choice is GSE. Check the sticky at the top of the all things root page, it has downloads for anything you want.
The fix for your app issue as taken from epayne123's post:
Once rebooted into GSE if you are going to keep it, go into ROM Toolbox, scroll over to Performance, select "build.prop Tweaks" and change LCD Density to 240(Nothing More And Nothing Less), go to Setting -> Applications -> All
Select Market and Clear Cache(FIRST) and then Clear Data(Second). Clear those IN ORDER! Then reboot and you will be all good to go.

i havesame problem

My phone for whatever reason keeps going from being able to last like a whole day without charging to not even half a day, about every month after use.
So i figure fresh install or new rom was in order so i used gingersteem (GSE1.5). Then I was getting the incompatible errors for like facebook and shazam and my battery was still sucking. I tried using rom manager to go back clear and wipe but it wasnt changing anything.
heck i even factory reset my phone and all these errors pop up (which is now fixed) and still same problems with battery and compatibility
So i was thinking that returning to stock will be a better start.
