Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Finally home from the hospital...
Long story short all is well going to pass out night night nexican family

Glad all is going to be ok.

Great to hear things are on the up and up there BBK.

So good morning everyone. Took my wife to see the Vow for V-day (we couldn't find childcare for tonight). She loved it, and I will admit, I like to see movies that stick up for marriage the way this one does. Other than that, it is definitely for the ladies.

I am going to see it next Tuesday with one of my girlfriends. Her husband won't go see it so we are going to have a Girls Night.

Where in DC is it? I'm not on Living Social, just Groupon. Have to say, I've never purchased anything from the latter .

Its in Yards Park. I have bought a couple things from Living Social. They are very clear about terms. I will say their app caused Nyxie to spasm and reboot, twice. But the iPad app is nice. Its probably better I don't have it on my phone anyway......too dangerous. :D

Happy V Day everyone!!
Fiance and I went to dinner at a local steak house for dinner last night. Good food good wine. Steak and crab for me and Ahi for her. (This week is pick a wedding dress week, her sister is flying into town today for a week long stay, and to go with her, her other sister and their mom....) so last night was our time!!

Also quick question here since I am still struggling with this Nexyness issue...I upgraded to AOKP 23 yesterday with a full data wipe....went to reinstall apps from TIBU and now my Google wallet appears to be blocked and non functional. Has anyone tried theirs recently? Apparently the version I have is current, but the error I am receiving says no longer supported by my carrier.....
I have tried the uninstall and then the phandroid article process for reloading the app...still a no go. Any suggestions? Or just wait for someone to find a work around? Thanks

EDIT: http://www.droidmatters.com/news/go...ogle-wallet-after-vulnerabilities-discovered/

Apparently this is working...ish, just will have to wait for El Goog to reactivate the ability to use this program....Thanks

I spend a lot of time on AF, most of it here with you guys. And I wouldn't change any of it.
7,000th post!

And its my 3 year anniversary of quitting smoking.

Congrats on the quitting smoking! I have always believed that a person is most successful in qutting smoking when one makes up their mind mentally that they're ready to quit. One has to be ready or no amount of drugs, patches, support groups, etc., will help. That's what happened to me almost 12 years ago... I just made up my mind to quit. I had smoked for 13+ years and enough was enough. Finished the pack I had, and stopped. That was in May of 2000.

It's a huge accomplishmet BB, so I tip my hat to you. You should be proud of yourself!

Happy Valentine's Day to my AF family.

Jump into life with all you have in you and live with hope, enthusiasm, love, and a bit of uninhibited silliness.

(Taken from a letter written by a mother, on her son's birthday, to the people who have helped her get through losing her son)

Congrats BB! Smoker here, not a ton (only about 4-5 a day). Have smoked in the past and just stopped, started up again with the crap I have to deal with at work. Anyway, my mom is still a smoker after probably 40 years. She's on quite a bit of medication to keep asthma etc. under control. Sucks, but I think she has no plan to ever quit though she's really cut down on how much.

And, for those who have never gone to the Chuck Norris thread in the Lounge, you are seriously missing out on some insane laughs!

That's a really cool watch. After I busted mine (for the second time) on our honeymoon, I've still been out for a new one. Bought a simple Lacoste one a couple months ago but still on the hunt for a "higher end" watch. Checked out a bunch at the mall on Saturday. Love black bracelet bands (like the one you have). This is the one I'm digging now:
Amazon.com: Citizen Men's AT0815-51E Eco-Drive Sport Chronograph Black Plated Stainless Steel Watch: Citizen: Watches
Wife has a rose gold (apparently all the rage now ) Michael Kors watch. It's really nice and I dig the black ones. Just can't get myself to throw down the coin for it

I haven't worn a watch since high school :p I like that Citizen's watch. Looked at some of them too but couldn't find one that fit my style. Really like the exposed mechanicals...guess it's the engineer in me :D I didn't want her to drop the cash on this one, but she insisted that you only buy a watch once every decade or so, so she didn't have a problem with it. Haven't seen those rose gold watches...
