Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

I was leaving work and this made me stop and have to take a picture with Nyxie. I am very partial to sky scenes.

Love a good sunset almost as much as I love the sunrise. I see way more sunrises though being up every morning at 5:00 am.

What the heck is a "sunrise"? :p

Actually I see one every so often thanks to a whacked work schedule. This morning however I got to see something a bit more rare... Alpenglow over the colorado rockies. Sadly I had left my camera at home, so I pulled out the Gnex fired up HDR + pro and attempted to shoot.

Allan Jeffers's Photo | Lockerz

This was after the sun had broken the horizon. Before the pink was much deeper. Not a very good shot, but those peaks, while cover in snow, where PINK!

I only know sunrise from the days when I would see it on my way in from the previous night. Otherwise it's an evil entity.

OK, hectic day.

Up at 6:00 to help 13 yr old finish science project that he left till the last minute:mad:
Drop Evan off at preschool at 8:00, I showered and ate somewhere in the, but nothing as good as what we been talking about :D
Off to work, but stuck behind every kindergarten bus:mad:, ten minute commute takes 30 minutes
Leave work at 10:30 to get Evan at preschool and bring him to day care, back to work by 11:15
Pick up Evan at day care at 3:50, get him changed into his Ghee and get him to Karate for 4:45 (keyaa!!!!)
Get home and get the 13 yr old to his BBall game for 6:00
Run home and get some food in Evan and I and try to make it back and catch the second half of the game

7:50, finally home and back here.

PS. I wouldn't trade it for the world :D

Why google WHY!?
I am uploading my music, ripped from my CDs that I own, many was ripped with music match jukebox (LMAO, remember that program?) Some with Itunes Some with windows media player.

In iOS, like on my ipod my music is 1 folder = 1 album. On my pc same thing. On android and even google music I get split albums! Totaly annoying. Most songs will be in one folder and the rest? A duplicate album.

This is such an annoyance, I don't like listening to my music on my android devices.

So I got an email from Verizon today, entitled "Bundle our best apps for only $12.99 per month." Amused, I opened it.

Apparently, Verizon has deigned to offer us, the lowly consumers, their best apps, consisting of the following:
- VZ Navigator
- NFL Mobile Premium
- Ringback Tones
- Visual Voicemail
- Verizon Video
- Usage Controls

For the low, low price of $12.99 per month! *When added to a voice plan (plus other charges), per month, per line. Promotion available for select Smartphones only. And that's a 55% discount! Normally to have these premium apps would be more than twice the price! What a deal!

My other favorite part of the email was the description of VZ Navigator: "Transform your smartphone into a navigation tool that gives clear turn-by-turn directions." Ah yes, my smartphone definitely does not do that already for free...

I totally agree. I haven't figured it out yet either. Anyone?

What's really sad is that I'm sure there is a large number of folks that will sign up for this because they haven't found us here at AF to teach them how to use their phones.

Yesterday there was some interest in dialer codes , I shared the one to determine if your replacement phone was a refurbished or new unit. I have tried a bunch of other dialer codes and so far, here are the ones I have found to work. I am unlocked and rooted running leaked 4.04. All require *#*#number#*#*

4636 Testing: Phone Information, Battery Information, Usage stats, Wi-FI Information
8255 GTalk service monitor
786 RTN Real Time Network
8351 Enable Voice Dialer Logging
8350 Disable Voice Dialer Logging
225 Calender Info
759 RLZ Debug Ui
66236 SyncML Svc

Anyone know any others that will work for us?

Also, I added a contact called update with the number *22899 then called it and it updated my PRL to 52642 from 15098. (I could not just dial this in the dialer, had to add as a contact and dial from there). This was interesting as 228 I thought was not suppose to work on LTE.
