Is there any chance the Hutch's one s gets on att??? I have read that thevone x may come to t-mobile and was hoping same could happen with one s.. I think 4.7 in is too big for phone...

From a hardware perspective, there are quite a few exciting things about this One S.

Pros:

Personally, I really look forward to see the performance of the Snapdragon S4 in the One S. It is going to be a step forward of the Snapdragon family and its performance is quite on par with Tegra 3. If you follow tech site like Anandtech, you will get what I mean. In terms of sheer power, the S4 clearly outperforms anything out there, and probably only second to Tegra 3 with regards to graphics.

Imagesense: Camera quality is drastically improved. In the past, HTC cameras were quite bad (if not among the worst), this is indeed a step into the right direction.

Cons:

Micro-sim: This is probably a problem only for me. I have a standard SIM and I don't want to cut it.
No microSD card: I don't expect to see a lot of development for this One S (and probably the whole One X series). No SD cards means that all of the methods I know to flash custom ROMs do not work any more. My knowledge of flashing ROM maybe limited, but the fact that there is no microSD card is enough to drive most people away from the whole One series.

I may be wrong though, but compare to the Sensation, the whole One series is a major step down for developers, at the same time it is a step up for casual users.

It also is suppose to have an extremely tough exterior toting it doest need a case for the clutzier people out there. A new arcing tech to the aluminum makes it as hard as ceramic and harder than stainless steel as well. But wow no SD Card? No replaceable or upgradeable battery? So It has 16gb internal storage? whoa it takes a mini sim card? how would I transfer all my info to the new phone?

The black so called micro arc oxid one is being reported as defective and the finish is chipping off...
The grey one is unaffected.

Slower than the Galaxy S II as well, Galaxy S II scores higher in glbenchmark with latest firmware. Please don't respond with Anandtech's outdated results, they recycle old results to save time and don't retest anything.

In fact the Galaxy S II slots right inbetween the HTC One X and One S.

Both are nice phones but when you consider how close the performance is to a device released a year ago they are not very impressive.

The S4 in the One S is in the same class as an ARM Cortex A-15, far above the A-9 used in the SGS2, which was basically equivalent to the Sensation's S3.

Maybe the SGS2 will outperform it at games, I couldn't say.

And then there's the Image Sense camera.

So, under the hood, this is a definite upgrade to the Sensation, and may be to many SGS2 owners as well.

Compared to the Sensation, the S is thinner, lighter, quicker, camera is much better, the phone is faster, better battery life...apart form those minor things, there's no difference.
