Playfulgod and Paranous over at XDA forums have created a working CWM that has been tested with a successful backup and recovery... They were using the LG Ignite as their base but its the same phone as the marquee minus the radio.

This is great news. One step closer to getting some customizations on this phone. We REALLY need an overclock kernel. The only thing holding this phone back is the sluggish processor.

I'm thinking since the Optimus Black already has some development history behind it, with some brave testers we could port over what's already been done without too much hassle. I wish I could test, but I already bricked the crap out of my Transform Ultra and I can't afford to brick another phone.

does this recovery work for the boost version

I think it's more software related. My optimus v wasn't as sluggish as this phone and that can't be because it's a faster phone

Looks like Playfulgod was supplied the stock recovery image from the Marquee. Shouldn't be long he'll have a test version for the Marquee. He's really good and was very helpful and patient with us on our Ignite.

So don't try the one for the Ignite. Wait until he has the Marquee one posted.

It did back up my phone didn't use the recovery function but everything else seems to work
