Music player to replace native app?

You don't need a stop button. Just pause the song if you don't want to hear anything playing. Then press the home key and go find something else to do.

If it makes you feel any better, iPods don't have a stop button, either. :)

Few apps on the Android platform actually have an "exit" option. It is because the Android does a really good job of managing memory on its own. If you just go back home it will allow you to fire up the app faster later. If your phone gets low on memory, it will automatically close unnecessary applications you aren't using.

How about a music player that plays my music in the track order of the album rather than alphabetically, without having to manipulate my music on my pc.

Or how about a music player that does NOT PAUSE between tracks...not a big deal unless you listen to live concert recordings 90% of the time, like me.

IMO, the biggest disappointment in the DROID. I can live with a so-so camera and a few bugs in an OS in its infancy, or even the lack of some apps early on, but this music player has got to go, and I don't think there is an acceptable replacement in the app store (yet)

okay, I'm done ranting

Really, I do love the phone:D

With the stock music playeryouj can make new playlists..

That's wonderful, how about explaining HOW this is done....

I've found this to be dependent on the album. Some do and some don't. There should be a way to update audio tags on the phone

I just downloaded mixzing and I found it to work a lot better than the stock player. The stock player is constantly changing the tempo on my music. One day all of my music was playing like alvin and the chipmunks was singing. Then in the middle of the track it would slow down to a crawl and speed right back up. Plus every track would skip like an old cd player would.

I'll say it again...

Has ANYONE found a freaking gapless playback capable player for Android?? Something so freaking simple and no one has created one?? Am I gonna have to learn how to create apps?? Geesz.

Just venting...a lot of sarcasm there. haha

I wish! Several of my favorite albums have an instrumental intro that leads into track 2 and it ruins it! And listening to "Colors" by Between the Buried and Me, :(

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I have made a new music player called bTunes Music Player. Try it out and let me know what you think. Feel free to give suggestions. Thanks.

edit: By the way, bTunes has an "Exit" button that will stop the player and close the app. :)
I just downloaded your player not a bad start. I like it better than the native player.I hate the iphone Ui which I know is the point for familiarity but,I just prefer anything non-crapple.That aside you did a good job, keep up the good work.
