do i need to install mobo player in order to play 720p files in my phone? can't the default video player play those files:thinking::thinking:

Guys this is a gr8 mis understanding that higher resolution movies will give a better movie viewing experience ...

if ur device has a display of 320x480 and ur GPU can decode 720p its useless as even though the GPU decodes , it is useless ...
ur device just needs videos with 320x480 !
any higher value is useless as ur display will not display the same :p

on the contrary it proves very helpfull if u see on a Monitor or TV caz there sizes are more ! its like they do have higher resolution screens !

i played a 720p file it lagged like hell but the quality was at par, while a 420*320 file seemed crappy

correct me if i am wrong but you just said that your device just needs videos with 320*480 resolution.:thinking:
