So, I've had the Prime for a couple weeks now. Guess it's time to root the guy
Now that Asus has unlocked the bootloader and there's AOKP support for it, I should dive in! :D

Edit: and while reading the directions and grabbing the right files from XDA, I start reading the forums over there. Wow, that place is so caustic (and depressing). Here's a comment from user:
"This kind of forum with all the negativity and fighting is just going to make the developers not want to be a part of it. If anyone's worried about warranty wait a year until yours Is up and don't complain."
I love XDA for supporting developers and hosting the files needed, but that place is awful. Makes me always run back here!

I have to find a font similar, and then recreate the materials so that we can resize...say from an 8x11 to an A6 or A4 note cards, or vice versa or whatever they want.

For fonts try fontspace.com or 1001freefonts.com

If you need to match an existing font, I like WhatTheFont! where you can upload an image of your current font and the site suggests the name of the font for you. :)

From my favorite website, Lamebook:

Just to give everyone else a few laughs in the morning :D

I highly recommend the site, but it is definitely NSFW...

Anyone using CM9? I used to use cm7 on my dinc.

Or is the feeling that AOKP is still ahead for our device?

Haven't used CM9 yet. I've pretty much been exclusively on AOKP. I used CM7 a bunch on my OG Droid, but found that Liquid GB was just much better (battery life, speed) despite all its theming. I'm looking to give Liquids a shot at some point on my Nexus.
AOKP doesn't use any theming but gives a ton of options. I love stock ICS as it is and AOKP is the icing on the cake (er sandwich ;)).

I love how every new iteration of an Apple device has rumored specs that don't pan out and is labeled a "game-changer" but ends up being a small improvement over previous devices with almost no major design change.

I think the big reasoning behind it is that the iPad 2 was so successful and continues to be so why would they need too many changes?
(still loving my Prime though)

Oh, I know the reasoning on Apple's part. It's the media and the Apple Fanboys that are hilarious to me. All the rumors that swirl that get everybody excited and get the fanboys started trash talking how Apple rules and then the rumors don't pan out and leave them deflated, yet still feeling the need to defend why Apple is god. I owned the first 2 iPhones and loved them, but the innovation stopped. Android became more appealing because they did use cutting edge type technology, even if it was a tad buggy. I can deal with bugs when you're trying new things and using an open platform. I will not tolerate the slightest bug when everything from hardware, to software, to even app control is in house. As good as the Apple products are, they still have bugs.

I actually meant the Google Wallet Team. When I called the support line I waited foe a Google Wallet Rep instead of connecting to a Money Network Rep or Citicard Rep, so I feel more confident about it becoming functional sooner thanks later.

The charger you got on eBay, can you share a brand/price if you don't mind?
I had no success with the Google Wallet team, but did have success with Money Network Team, interesting. For the Charger, it was around 15 when I bought it, I just looked and it is $19 from the seller puterhub; by the way, a great seller to deal with.

Yeah, I am waiting for the iPad 2s myself :)

Seriously I think its going to have a higher res display, siri, 4g LTE probably dual core (perhaps quad) at 1.0 ghz "maybe" 1gb of ram a different proprietary USB connection and iOS tweak :)

I am interested in this device, but if it fails like the iPhone 5, er, 4s did, I don't want to get my hopes up :)
