How or Can I Get Email to Return to Inbox?

Hello. I did some searching in the forums and could not find an answer to this. I realize it's not a major problem but it is something that is driving me nuts. This is my first Android phone and I just got it, was previously using WinMo. In my email I was able to set it so that when I was viewing an email and decided to delete it while viewing it, I would go directly back to the inbox but my Hero automatically goes to the next email on all accounts. How or can I change this?

Also, is there a way to set email so that I have a choice of which email I want to open by a list (similar to an account picker?)

I can address your second question. When you click on the email icon on the home screen, it opens to the first email address. From there, you can click on the email address at the top, and a list will open called "select account" is this what you are asking about?

Unfortunately, or, fortunately. I knew I could do that. I was just hoping there was a way that if I touched the email icon it automatically brought up that list instead of the default email inbox. I don't think you can but thank you much for answering.

While in mail app>menu>more>settings>general settings>set as default account This will change the mailbox brought up when you press the icon
