Phone Number Display

I have noticed when I go into my address book that phone numbers appear as (XXX) XXXXXXX. The number for text messages appear as (XXX) XXX-XXXX. Has anyone else seen the dash being left off for home / work / mobile numbers? Not a big deal, just curious....

Odd. Maybe I'll take out the () on mine and see what that does. Like I said, no big deal, I was just curious. Thanks for looking.

Not a problem, I know when I enter a phone number that the phone automatically puts in the dash. Then it probably just transfers the number down for texting as I enter it.

I took the parentheses out of one of my numbers and now it shows like yours, xxx-xxx-xxxx. I guess from now on I will add numbers in that format, so that all the dashes appear.
