Predict when the Incredible is released in terms of "Official" thread post count

The monster http://androidforums.com/htc-incredible/42916-official-htc-incredible-thread.html is already over 3,000 posts. Predict when you think the HTC Incredible will be released in terms of post count of the Official thread. The group that is closest in predicting the post count of the Official thread when the phone is released will get something special, like the praise of thousands and I don't know... be the first ones to have Nash make them a custom background image

To make things more fun, the time and date of release of the HTC Incredible will be determined by when the first customer posts his or her pictures of the phone after getting it from the store.

Can't win this by default! I humbly had already accepted defeat yesterday. I say we add the official to the unofficial count to see who the real winner turns out to be.

Why bother! The thread was closed due to too much off topic threads. It means NOTHING. It was getting to the point of responding just add to the count. The total number is unreal and had nothing to due with the incredible.

for some reason it's always the users with a post count < 10 that say something like that about the incredible thread.

and by the way the official thread has been re-opened, so we are back in business. Right?

Well, congrats to the Official thread. It has reached 10,000 proving most people wrong (including my self) about the post count.

Those who voted the thread would be close to 10,000 at release: AckMan, BB2DROID, CREVZ21, DaddyJax44, Droid1215, dualforce, Hitman69, inittowinit, kekchi, kmoore11, kscobie8, Mendon, Rimzy, woodraskam, wordweaver27

Also still in contention are those who predicted 15,000: Anonimac, brodymon, carmendiva, Dex, DieselBDC, kyler13

If there's a big ramp up to release with promo materials and pre-release reviews then I think 15,000 is possible, especially if it's a mid April launch.

-I suspect the phone will be announced before it is released, like maybe a week before.

These too things will lead to hundreds or maybe thousands of posts per day, and we gain even more members every day. How many views does that thread have? Have we hit 600,000 yet?

20,000 doesn't seem reasonable. I'd guess 15,000.

You also have to remember those views are not unique. Realize that there are alot of the same people checking that thread every 10 mins, each counting as a view. So technically, 1 person could have 50 views in a day.

Wow, it's only March 24th and the thread is already closer to 15,000 than 10,000. With all the wisdom members have, only 10% of voters chose the highest post count option of 15,000.
