Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Haha, I understand that. But you might miss out on the creation of the next megathread ;)

If you guys promise to make a pool for me like we did for Steven, I might be game. Otherwise, I doubt my wife lets me spend $600 on another phone, ha!

Seriously, there's always something better on the horizon. I refuse to even go into a Verizon store anymore.

Where oh where will Manning land?
Will he go hold the Titans' hand?
Will he live it up at the local disco,
While he plays for Harbaugh in San Francisco?
Will he ruin Tebow's dream?
And make John Elway scream?
Will he stand in Eli's Super Bowl way,
or in the AFC will his butt stay?

Ah, the questions, the questions!!

True. But it's really irritating me! I have no idea why, but I really am having a hard time liking her. Like she's too emotional or something. I just don't believe her when she's all bad-a$$ as Snow White.

I think we're building to something that kind of opens her eyes and makes her less naive

Tired of hearing about him. Thankfully it isn't as bad as Linsanity!

I would be surprised if he takes a big hit early on and is out for the season.

Pats? Yuck. Being a UF fan, I love watching Tebow, but was easy when he was in Denver, I didn't have an opinion of them beforehand. Pats however, I hate more than any other team. I am afraid I won't be able to cheer for him any more. :p

Can't stand the Pats either, frakking cheating, expensive-toilet-using morons! I love it when they lose the Super Bowl.

And Belichek is the most unsentimental SOB in the world. He will turn Tebow into a fullback or a tight end. He won't care less about what Tebow wants.

Poor kid.

Yeah, just heard that too. Too bad. He'd have at least 1 more Super Bowl if he'd gone with SF. But he doesn't want to stand in his brother's way.

Broncos have a nice O line, good defense, but not a lot of weapons at receiver. It will be a struggle to get past Green Bay or SF in a Super Bowl, if he gets that far.

Money, I think, is about right. You're not just getting an arm. He's got the best football mind in the game, and is pretty much an offensive coordinator at the line. I like him better than Brady or Brees.

Edit: Also, you can never really tell what a contract really is in the NFL. There's so little guaranteed money that any number you see is pretty much BS. Even the 5 years isn't realistic. He's 36. I'm thinking 3 years at most.

Recently I moved. I picked the apartment I'm in because she would allow a pit bull. She has some herself. When I found one I wanted she called her insurance to double check and they said no. She was given a list of around 7 dogs that aren't allowed and they specifically said pit bull. The first thing that came to mind was, okay I'll just get a staffordshire terrier or american bull dog mix unknown - both pretty much pit bulls. I just needed paper work not to say pit bull. I let it go for a couple weeks. I called her back and asked about staffordshire terrier. She had to look it up and see what it was. Answer...no. I can't get anything that looks like a pit bull.

So disappointed. I really wish she would just change her insurance to State Farm. It would be a lot easier if I could just go get a house. Even with what I get paid, that, isn't an option right now.

According to ESPN, just now, Manning has told his agent to open negations with Denver.

All teams involved were told 5yrs @ $95 million. Seems a bit much to me.

Better be a lot of offensive snaps taken incentives in that deal.

My biggest fears were him going to SF, Houston, or Baltimore. Him in a situation where all the offensive and defensive pieces were in place and just a good QB away.

I think there is a strong correlation with being a resident of the us minus MA, NH, VT, and ME and being a Pat hater.

I'll have you know that being a fan of all the Boston teams, it can be a little sickening with the band wagoners (pink hats we call them) that have jumped on board with the recent run of success up here.

I've been a fan of the 1-15 Patriots. I cried as a little boy when the ball went through Buckner's legs in '86. I jumped for joy when Bourque got the cup with Colorado (cus he was a local guy) and I sweat with the Celtics through their last downturn (which I am afraid they are entering again).
