Root MIUI/ICS for the motorola photon

this is a port of the atrix miui {major thanks to steven and the mad atrix crew of dev's}

Th3Bill and myself would like to present to you MIUI/ICS V4. for the Motorola Photon
please remember this is a work in progress pretty damn stable just a few issues... since this is based off joker cm9 pretty much what works in it works here, that goes for fixes mods and issues

Unlocked photons only!!!!!! Must be on 198_7 or 198_6 and have your bootloader unlocked thanks


Instructions:
1. fresh install process: (thanks xcellphonesalesrep for testing and finding this)
reboot to recovery use jokers recovery cwmv3 http://www.jokersax.com/developer-pa...enmod9-photon/
use th3bill's wipe all zip http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?09s7943ps87rwed or
format system, data, cache
wipe dalvick cache
flash zip
go to advanced and reboot recovery
flash zip then reboot phone

2. to flash over:
use th3bill wipe cache zip http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?t0ctb4am6ftbw42 or
wipe cache and dalvick cache flash zip
reboot recovery
flash zip
reboot

*unless posted as not working you can assume it works until you test for yourself. if you find something unreported as not working please post so i can add it to the op and if you find a fix for it please do the same and i will include it to op and in builds as well as credit you for the find

mms in stock messaging app not fully working it sends, receives but will not download or preview to fix use gosms it works flawlessly without changing any settings [sorry guys still trying to fix it]

*This will fix the issue of the EMMC (internal memory) not showing up on your apps. must flash after first boot
to flash fix:
go into recovery wipe dalvick cache flash fix zip, wipe dalvick cache, fix permissions and reboot



* please note some of these builds are based off the atrix miui and jokers photon cm9 so in theory what works/doesnt work, fixes, and mods should apply here

Please report any and everything and as always please make a backup before flashing

HELLO EVERYONE,

we have successfully ported miui 2.3.16 to the motorola photon i cant post links yet but you can view it for more infor or download at teh xda in the photon development section.curretnly our only issue is mms with the stock messaging app using a market app like gosms it works flawlessly. if you guys havent seen or tried it yet should go check it out. once my new user restriction is lifted ill replace this message with actual links, screenies, instructions, everything you need to know..

Nice to hear about your work, I was a big MIUI fan on the Evo4G, this may convince me to unlock (only get 4G in a few specific places anyway).
