Hey everyone,
Well, I just got my PS3 controller working on my tf101 and am LOVING it so far. I used THIS guide to get it done.

Anyway, I am now looking for games that are known to be compatible with the controller. So far I have found that GTA 3 is working with the controller, although with slightly different keys than on the original PS2 controller. I will be testing out more games and updating here. If anyone else knows of any games please post them here as well.

I am starting the list with games listed in NVidia's Tegra Zone app as being controller compatable. I can't buy them all, I just spent too much money on a Transformer ;) So I will list the ones that have been confirmed by either me or someone else as working in bold and if available, what controller it was tested with.

Games that work with controller. Tested(Controller Used)

GTA 3 (PS3)
Shadowgun (PS3)
Zen Pinball (PS3)
Shine Runner (PS3)
Soulcraft THD
Riptide GP
Gem Miner Dig Deeper (PS3)
Dink Smallwood (PS3)

Your link isn't working. Does it work for non rooted tabs?
Yes, this works for non rooted, I am running Stock ICS.

Nice, I was a bit disappointed Dead Space wasn't controller compatible, but there you go.

Shadowgun is pretty good, I'll def be looking to check out some of the other games on the list too.

So you tested Shadowgun? Which controller setup did you use? I havent even tried Dead Space. I did try Galaxy on Fire, it says it is free, but after you get into it it tells you you have to unlock the whole game for $9.99. I may have just missed the Trial Version sign somewhere, but I don't think I did.

I will be testing more games this weekend, but I am also working this weekend, so it won't be many games:(

Yeah, shadowgun works with no issues, I didn't change anything so just whatever the default controller setup is.

I was a bit annoyed with Dead Space, but it was only 49p in the recent sale so I'll just power on with it I think.

Galaxy on Fire doesn't work, there is a version which lets you play a few levels, but it used an on screen pad as opposed to the controller. I'll see what I can test this weekend too, I'll drop you a PM if I can find anything for you to add to the list.

So I read through the whole post. Sounds like I can do it unrooted but need the dock to initialize the BT link?
I dont have a dock but I have a decent relationship with my best buy folks. They may let me plug the dock in just to sync it up. Are there any other supported controllers out there? I keep holding off on buying games like GTA3 and SHadowgun because I dont want to have to deal with the sketchy touchpad controls.

Pre ICS, the wired Xbox 360 controller worked (I much prefer that over the PS3 controller), I'm hoping that's just one of the quirks of the upgrade and it will work properly if Asus patch it. I'm sure there are some of the logitech ones confirmed as working too, but you'll likely pay a premium for them.

Etrogann, before I go for the download, any idea if Six Guns works? I quite like the look of that.

The whole reason this started for me was because I saw something on tegra zone about the f710Logitech controller working with Tegra systems out of the box. I tried it, found it didn't work and after searching around I called Asus. Found out I missread and it was only supported with Tegra 3 devices. But in my searching for an answer about the Logitech controller I found the PS3 solution.

I am not sure if any other controlers are supported, but I will probably be testing some of the controller apps sometime soon as well. Because the buttons on some of the games I have tested are kinda funny and unintuitive. And AFAIK there is no way to reassign buttons stock.

I did test a couple of games this weekend, but Six Guns was not one of them. To be honest, I spent alot of my time this weekend playing Galaxy on Fire 2 (GREAT game). I should probably post the games I have tested that didn't work as well, so people know what doesn't work so far. Maybe the second post will be for that. I will will edit later when I have the time.

I will be testing more hopefully tonight, but I can't afford to test games that I don't want that cost money, so If you have bought a game you like, then please test it and put your results here, or PM me and I will add it to the list.

Based on that reasoning, you might get a better response and more suggestions if this thread was in the Games subforum?

If you were willing to maintain/update the initial post (I'd help) and it got a bit of momentum, I'd probably sticky it for you too.

Up to you, I'm easy either way. Given that more tabs/phones are coming out which offer controller support, there might be a wider audience for this.

I have to find a solution soon. I am starting to get games piling up that have controller support. I'm not going to buy the dock, I'm not going to root it. If anyone can point me in the right direction of a good wireless controller option I would be great full. I have been searching a bit here and there but as soon as you hear some positive stuff about one, everyone else comes in and says it sucks or it doesn't work with ICS or something. Is there maybe a thread on the forum that lists a bunch of options?
