Z4 Root Help..

Hello! I'm having trouble. My brother had given me a samsung Intercept, and awhile back he decided to Z4Root it for over clocking. I want to get rid of it, it seems to cause errors on my android. I decided maybe restoring factory settings would get rid of it, it didn't. I went into the app and I hit "Un-root". It's been going for 20 minutes, and I fear it may never un root. Any way I could get rid of this, or maybe just wiping my entire Android and installing Android again?
Any help would be apreciated.

If he had it overclocked, you will want to turn the clock speed back down first. There should be an app on the phone for it.

Doesnt say if he got that far as oc program ,sounds like he just did the root first.
to me it sounds like he forgot to set debug on, rooting z4 will spin all flippen night with out it.

In the OP, says his brother rooted it a while back to overclock it....
His being able to unroot is a different issue, but just wanted to make sure he turns the clock speed down(if it was ever successfully turned up) before he unroots.
