Root [One Click][Updated]LG Spectrum All in One Pkg for Root, CWM Touch Recovery, and Unroot

Hi new to all of this thank you for above. I'm intending on getting the Spectrum as I need a larger screen and your tweaks are convincing me to get it. Question, once I do the root based on above instructions, how do I then install ICE CREAM sandwich 4.0 etc onto the phone? Didn't find anything on Youtube for Spectrum. Any links appreciated. Looking forward to my first nice SMART Phone running lean and mean.

Is the phone in usb debugging mode? You have to change to ethernet on the usb connection and ensure debugging is on for adb to work right.

*edit* oops didn't see the later posts.

I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly. Confirmed that phone is in USB Debugging mode. Confirmed Phone has been changed to Ethernet on the USB Connection and it still is stuck on "daemon started successfully". Any suggestions? Please help as I am new to the Rooting process.

Thanks

2 other possibilities is a driver issue (not installed properly, need to restart, etc) or a bad cable. I'd try a different cable first.

I reinstalled the drivers, and rebooted my computer a couple of times and tried running the bat file again. This time I believe it worked as it rebooted the phone and brought me back to the main Root and Recovery Tool menu. Is there a way to check anything on the phone to make sure it worked? Again, I'm new so I apologize for my Rookie questions.

Thanks for your help.

Go to Google Play and download an app called root check, but if it rebooted the phone it should have worked.

So far root and custom recovery is all that's achieved... Couple of things in the works but certainly not ice cream sandwich right now.... I'm testing an undisclosed ROM right now which you may see in the very near future.... ;-)

OH thank you! I guess I'll be patient then and and save my upgrade which is just eligible now. If I have to do all this I'd like to do ICS at the same time. Verizon was suppose to offer it some time soon but who knows. Thanks again for all your efforts everyone! :D

ok, so not too new to rooting and all that, but I am to this risky of a process, should I Factory Reset my phone? I rooted it w/ the one click method released eariler, and I want to flash the new ROM to my phone, so should I factory reset, then download this and root it thru here?..to achieve root w/ CWM? or just unroot using this? and reroot using this as well?

You could also just dd command the cwm_touch.img to your phone and that way you wont have to go through the unrooting or factory reset process.
