Um. What? Proper English/grammar is your friend.

I think the Shift's been EOL'd for awhile. It hasn't been on Sprint's website for like a month. Also, purchasing it a year ago is hardly "just" purchasing it. I've had been for just over a year and it's been fantastic. It's still a great phone, regardless if it's EOL or not. I am a bit disappointed that it's not getting ICS, but, that's what's rooting is for. I don't know of any phones in the pipeline that are QWERTY sliders, it seems like phone manufacturers are moving away from sliders.

sad that a great product will be biting dust.
I changed from Evo3D to the shift and had to use an upgrade to do it.The 3d was a gimmick but the processor was great and some other features were great.
Now the downside to 3D,the signal really sucked, and the bluetooth also had issues like a bit off frequency, when paired. That was on early models.
Changed to Shift and both issues gone, and it wasn't that particular phone.I dont use the Querty keyboard, but wife does, plus we use hers as a hotspot.
I think the Shift and the Hero were are and were great phones and are workhorses.
The 4G is great if you live in area that has it,or in my case, travel to places that have it,is the cats meow.

I have to say that I have only started using smartphones very recently (about a year), the shift was my first smartphone and by far my favorit. I have tryed outhers and never was satisfied with the end result I must have a querty slider (fat, warm fingers) and the versatility I've found the shift to have is beyond comparison (if you know of better let me know). I just had insurance replace my evo and until a new querty phone king is crowned I will continue to buy the shift from wherever I can.
