Are there any apps that enable no scrolling fixed wallpaper? I've found a few apps that crop the wallpaper to fit the screen but there's still scrolling which just doesn't look right.

Samsung finally let you set wallpaper with no scrolling, why can't Asus?

Not quite sure just what it is you're looking for.
Do you want to keep the same pic locked in place for all 5 screens....or.....do you want to have a single pic on each of the 5 screens?
If either of those two options is the one you want....then you're in luck.....because there is a great app/widget called MultiPicture Live Wallpaper. I know because that's what I'm using on my Prime. I have 5 different pics of 5 different Ferrari cars on my 5 screens. In other words...each screen has its own pic.
Now, you can also set it up so that you will have the same pic showing on all 5 screens. There is a way to do that in the settings, so if that's what you want then download the free app/widget from the PlayStore.....set the preferences the way you want and there you go. Piece of Cake.

I use ADW launcher it has the option to stop wallpaper from scrolling. And I hate samsung bcus my infuse still have no gingerbread, thats another story.

Quick search shows the Infuse is upgradable to gingerbread, probably just your carrier slowing things down.

Also rom is available online and lots of custom roms are available using gingerbread for your device.

I want normal wallpaper as you would on a desktop, no scrolling, no over cropping.

Ok, then go with the MultiPicture Live App/Widget. I'm sure it will do the simple task you want,.....and a lot more. For what it is that you want to do then I think you will want to use the 'Lock Screen' in the settings. That is your main screen, the one that shows in the display when you turn your device on.
I'm using the stock launcher on my Prime along with that App/Widget and it works very well. I also use MPL on my SGS but on there I've got it set to use all pics in one album and so it changes the pics on each of my seven screens. I use Launcher Pro on my SGS and I like it very much.

Like I said, the MultiPicture Live app does just about everything you could possibly want regarding setting up photo/images on the display of most Android devices, so doing a simple static display should be a piece of cake.

Try it, what have you got to lose? It's Free. ;)

But when I tried it the day it over cropped the image. I'll have a further play around with it when I've got time and see if theres a way around it.

Well good, I'm glad to hear you're giving it a try. I can't imagine what could be causing the cropping issue, unless perhaps it is the image size (resolution). All the photos I've used on both of my devices show full screen size, (no cropping)
and that goes for the 4 in screen on my SGS to the 10.1 in screen on my TF Prime.

I think 'playing around' with the settings, and perhaps different photos with different resolutions is a good idea.
I admit that the app has a lot of options in settings and I also had to 'play around' with some of the settings to get things just the way I wanted, but it worked well and I'm very pleased with the app and it's capabilities.....so much so that I have it and use it on both my Android devices.
In short...it's a great app and I'm sure you can get it setup just the way you want.
