Switching back and forth from a 3G phone to a 4G phone?

My question is, if my current phone is a 4G phone, and I have a 4G plan, could I switch back and forth between my phones. I'm using the Rezound, but sometimes I want to use the Droid 2 Global for the better battery life. Is there a way I could just reactivate it on my line whenever I wanted to go back to using it?

Like thedrizl said yes you can but once you activate a 3g phone your sim card will be deactivated and cannot be used again. You will have to go to verizon and get a new sim card for your Rezound if you want to reactivate it.

Yes, you can do it, but it's a real pain. Switching frm the 4g phone to the 3G can be done easily, on- line. Going back the other way, you will need to get a new LTE SIM card every time. I was going back and forth from my iPhone 4s and my Razr Maxx for a while and it was definitely a bother.

Everyone is right. You can switch back and forth but it's a pain in the butt. I had a 4g phone and hated it, and switched to a 3g.... Verizon had to deactivate my 4g sim card, send me another 4g sim card as a temp until my 3g phone came in. Got the 3g phone, had to send back their 4g sim card and then they lost it and charged me $560 for a phone and card I no longer had. Yes it got resolved but it was a MESS.

Just turn off the 4g antenna and you will be fine.
