Turning Off GPS Consequences

GPS won't work. :rolleyes:

LOL, dead on.

However, there's really no reason to turn GPS off. It doesn't use any power unless an app calls on it, and there aren't many that call on it. Most that need a location just pull it from the towers. About the only apps that use GPS are navigation apps (sprint nav, google nav), and maps apps (google maps, cellfinder (not sure cellfinder's around anymore)). I'm sure there's a couple other things that'll pull up the GPS, but there aren't many that are used a lot.

If you don't ever use the navigation apps or the map apps, then by all means, turn it off. It really won't make much of a difference either way.
