Root BB 0.7 & Smoked Glass Theme

I got petes newest rom installed but im really missing the smoked glass theme is there anyway to get it back if so how?

Metamorph as a whole won't load on 0.7 (on mine)
Free space/busybox error not enough space and not everything will be loaded. And it doesn't launch (the message is something like the above, but it flashes too quickly to read.

Anyone have success? This is the theme I want to load.

Try this:

adb shell
mount -o remount,rw /dev/mtd/mtdblock4 /system
chmod 755 /system/xbin/busybox
reboot

Shoot I have never done anything with adb (I know I know)

I think you should be able to do it in terminal emulator also, just replace adb shell with 'su'

Damn terminal emulator won't work on this update either.
Darnit - lemme find another.

I am curious if anyone else with this update is having metamorph issues or if it's just me.

It's not just you. Busybox is broken, and I posted the fix.

However, I think there's a function in MM itself that lets you reinstall busybox. I just suggested the other method first, as busybox is already installed, it just needs its permissions modified.

Hopefully this will help anyone else who has this problem.

just installed it. the notification bar doesn't change. the framework apk crashes the phone and makes it reboot.

Yeah, I agree on doing the nandroid backup. I might try the glass theme although I am considering trying Ultimate Droid. So I just need to make up my mind

Haha, yeah. I haven't had the best of luck with UD, but I know lots of people really love it.

Hi guys, first time post for me but I figured this was a good place to start asking. I have the motorola droid, rooted with droidmod 1.0 initially I had sholes mod and that had a smoked glass theme. I've been trying to find it again but have yet to find it. The theme you link will it work with my droid? Do I need metamorph or do I simply use the update.zip method (do rename the file for that glass theme you linked?) And will it interfere with droidmod? Lol sorry for so many questions but figured id give it a shot
