I've made a couple of these:

One for work and one for home, they work great!

I apparently have low-quality paperclips - they keep breaking instead of bending! Time to go raid the secretary's desk...

I was using the paper clip stand on my bedside table. I just bought a small plate rack (used to stand decorative plates on edge) for 89 cents. Holds the eris horizontally and doesn't interfere with the charging card. sweet

Works great for me, not as fancy as caddymans but....

I'm lucky enough to be able to keep that on my nightstand. If I put Caddy's thing on, my wife would probably use one of those clips on a place I really, really don't want it. I like the iPhone paper clip looking thing but I don't have a monster paper clip. That clip must have been the size of a mouse trap. Hey mouse trap.... now that's a thought. Touch my Eris and BAM!! (Hope the phone doesn't ring in the middle of the night)

Might wanna get some acid and clean up the edges do you don't scratch the phone.

@ Matlock - I buffed it down a bit and I'm think of adding some foam padding. I'll look for some acid at the hardware store while I'm there.

If you do the padding, no reason to waist money on any acid. Any glue you use will keep the edges soft if the padding happens to slip.

Works great. Just found one and notched the back so the cassette holder would tip back further (scared the phone would tip forward to easy). I don't have a camera other than my phone so I can't take a pic of how well it works. haha

Idea taken from a certain very esteemed member of the forum. Just substituted a little electrical tape for rubber bands and scotch tape. Just a little more "black", like my soul.

I haven't owned a cassette in a decade.

OMG. I am SOOOO bummed. I threw out 470 cassettes just a week ago!!!!! I wish I was more creative and I could've seen at the time what I was doing!

My husband made me one out of some ammo and an empty ammo container!!! He cut the little tray with a dremel tool, and spray painted it black. The 2 bullets in the back are .308 and the two in the front are .40 cal pistol rounds.
