Xbox or PS3.... Or Supernintendo?

If you say so. I'll take convenience of a console any day.

Console is more convenient due to more people owning one. For those people who have gamed on PC's for the last decade and change, they obviously are preferential to the PC swing of things. Everything is better on PC, that is a fact. You don't have the same limitations on PC that you face on consoles.

Not to mention I can play MORE games on my PC just as easy as any console. Hooked up to my 50" Plasma and a wireless xBox or Playstation controller is the same experience, only high res.

easy there gents.. PC is a tad easier with mouse and keyboard. plus with these consoles, you don't have to worry about having a killer video card and the likes. while i agree with you elder, wiser gamers IOWA and NY, you gotta give the console some credit!

I'm not taking any credit away from current gen consoles. They clearly serve their purposes, and very well at that I might add. I'm just saying that with their limitations, it is hard to see them being overall better products as many may believe/suggest. Convenience gets you to buy the console, but that doesn't get you to stick around. Why do you think there are so many people who own all three?

hmm i think times are a' changin. with laptops and tabs on starting to be the norm for lotsa people, i think the numbers are going to change. not saying any1 will die off... just maybe a shift.

1 thing i never got was handhelds. yeah yeah i had a gameboy and SEGA (forgot it's name)... but that's where i stopped. the gameboy lasted what felt like days, and the SEGA lasted hours with the bright color screen and the TV (i actually had that!)

is the Vita battery any good? PSP? i'm not sure?

I got both !
On PS 3, I play only esxclusive PS 3 games. Because the developers made the game exactly for this system. But other games, that come out on both consoles I play on my XBox 360. Online gaming is better on Xbox. Especially if you're an FPS fan. But, PS 3 games like Killzone is also good one for online.

Actually there is NO DIFFERENCE.
I love PS 3 for its Exclusive Awesome Games.
I love Xbox 360 for its better online and more comfortable gaming with its better controller

I have a PS Vita and the battery life probably could be better. I probably average something like 5 hours between charges, but that's total time - not consecutive. I only play it on my commute to work, so basically every 2-3 days I charge it up. I got it as a present though, so I'm not going to complain. The only thing I play on it is MLB 12 The Show lol.

While I don't have a proper PC, I must say I do actually prefer that for gaming. It's just not as powerful as modern consoles... so I get my modern games going on the ps3. Though, I must say that the xbox has a better controller IMO... maybe not tech wise, but it does seem more comfortable...

I have the adapter for the ps3 controllers so I can dock them to charge them. Full charge in a couple of hours, and it lasts about a week or so with my use habits.

I play on my PC frequently for gaming. CS: source, all the GTAs, My MMOs (I'm loving Swtor but I was an EVE player and really who hasn't played wow.) but I love my Xbox also! I like the controller, the PC connectivity with media center, and I can plug my phone in and get all my music and pictures and videos displayed on my TV. I'm a former manager of GameStop and from my experience I can say that there is little difference between PS3 and 360 if you look at them in terms of gaming consoles. Yes they have different physical features like that Blu-ray player but take this into consideration, the new slim PS3s have only 2 USB ports on the front. the new slim has 2 in front and 3 more in back. Also Every game that is released on 360 is compatible with 1080p seems like its only about the top 30-35% of titles that are released on the PS3 have 1080p compatibility. The rest only display 720p at the highest. I hear the argument a lot that the PS3 does 60 fps, this is true but these are only actually 30 frames played in duplicate. 2 of the same frames in a row isn't so noticeable to us but some people do experience extra flicker or noise on their sets. I know the Xboxs have broken a lot and they have a terrible reputation. but people are still buying them. knowing that they have to pay to play online with Xbox Live because the PSN cant touch their size. I've had Xbox Live for about 8 years so I have also the roots of it being an Xbox original fan... that was another great console i still have mine modded to hell so i have all the SNES games and n64 there are like 8k games on that all thanks to my Xbox!

Fact is people are going to love what they love for different reasons. Its hard to prove to them otherwise. I'm still In love with the PC the PC is the ultimate machine, cant ever beat out something that is constantly evolving and improving. Consoles stay the same until the next one is released.

TLDR: PC>Xbox360>PS3
