Help ZVD Update.zip

is there any way I can get the zvd update.zip for the lg esteem... I been trying to update through the lg tool but when tethering it takes me about 4 hours which is rediculous lol atleast if I can get the update.zip download I can download it directly to one of the phones and then it really doesnt matter how long it takes

ive been considering the zvd update as well and i dont want to risk catastrophic failure during the update due to my very spotty wifi connection....but i hear it is possible to visit a metro corporate office store and have them update you...not sure it would be a good thing to show them your "roots"

I will definitely recommend the zvd update your esteem will love you back it takes about 30 minutes to download but you can try a metro store and do it too so good luck guys

well what part do we freeze on during the upgrade using three update tool, OP? And also, you're Esteem won't get hurt if you're wifi cuts out because A. The wifi is only needed on the computer to download the update and once outer is completely downloaded the took will know andwon't allow you to continue unless it downloads fully so even if it cuts out it wont let you process until you have fully downloaded it. B. One the took is dinner downplaying completely it will not use wifi anymore and we'll begin the installation process where U can disable wifi if you want because it will not need to download any more. so too ahead and do it.

I WOULD SAY TO UPDATE AND A LITTLE FYI DON'T DISCONNECT FROM COMPUTER TIL U SEE IT IS COMPLETED. AND ALSO THE ZVD HAS SOME ISSUE WITH IT. WAS TOLD FROM LG ELECTRONICS THAT A NEW UPDATE IS TO COME, CAUSE SOME OF US DON'T HAVE THAT POWER ON SOUND, I AM ONE TO SAY I AM GLAD NOT TO HEAR THAT METRO SOUND, BUT I CANT EVEN PUT MY OWN UNTIL A NEW UPDATE COMES OUT. OTHER THAN THAT HEY THE ZVD RUNS SMOOTH AND WITH THAT PHONE CANDY AS A THEME HEY THIS THING ROCKS. I LOVE MY ESTEEM, I SLEEP WITH THE DAM THING LET THE GIRL SLEEP ON THE SOFA ......

I have a stock ZVD backup that I may be able to upload and yall can goo ahead and make it a restore for yourselves to play with it. I am pretty sure out its dead stock also.

I dont think the OP is rooted and doesn't have CWM recovery.

If you do have a recovery, there are backups of ZVB, ZVC, and ZVD in the All Things Root section. There are a few threads that arent too hard to find.
