Help Best tablet music player?

How does PowerAmp look on tablet??

Not that good tbh. It distorts the album art for some reason and always crashes when I hit the equalizer button!

So I have decided to stick with the stock music player, got to face it it has a fantastic appearance and flow. Just a shame it does not have a great range of widgets and custom options.

Thats more the mp3 format issue, I don't know of a single player that has ever removed the whites space between tracks. The only way to remove it was to re-burn the tracks removing the white space first, not that that helps. :p

I'm messing around with a new player atm and it is truly amazing!! Just waiting for the new update to add full tablet support. :)

I use Power amp on my phone - I can play Operas without gaps, totally seamless, and set tracks so that as one fades out another fades in - perfect

Not bad Oblig. The whole seamless playback does not worry me as tracks are ment to have gaps between them. It's not like I live in a club. ;) The only time I like it is if its an actual mix, in which case they are normally 1 continuous file. :)

I really like my Sena SMH10. It's a cheap mp3 player.
I even use the helmet speakers amd have foam earplugs. For bike to bike comms or rider/pillion...which is the main reason I got it, I'm very happy with the system.

I'm sure it would be even better with the etymotic earbuds...but for some reason my etymotics don't stay sealed and often loosen as I'm putting on my helmet.

Great information there ankaka, you do know we are talking about mp3/media players on a tablet computer tho? ;)

I've been using n7player from the market. It looks great, although it doesn't support landscape view. It sounds good too, more to the point.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.n7mobile.nplayer&feature=search_result

Im with you on this critcher. Fantastic player, I've been using it a month now and they are slowly improving it and imo will be the best player on the market soon.

Regarding the landscape issue, i spoke with them a few days ago and it is coming:

Hi, we have some minor issues regarding the landscape mode, but it will be released as soon as possible. Sorry for the delay, but we want to deliver our users the best experience possible.

Best regards, N7 Mobile team.
Another nice feature to come is the player detecting your screen res and allowing hi quality album art to be downloaded.

Certainly one to keep an eye on!

i found that the stock player is alright, i have double twist pro and winamp pro on here also and those are great means of change ups from where the stock player falls short. but that's not by much thanks to the amp apps that you can buy to give you all those extra features those other two music players use. i've been wondering about poweramp but mnn maybe the next time i get money i'll check it out. ^_^

Gotta say, I love it. I used the cover art downloader to update all the images and it looks great. And I've lost track of all the updates! It's good to know they're still working on it - it just gets better.

IMO this player could be "the one". When you have something as gorgeous as the Prime, the apps you use should be a bit showy, I think.

I like files VERY organized. Before I proudly owned my Prime, I had an iPad. (Which I am using as a nice lap stand for my Prime) Though, I miss my organized music files. I have spent hours organizing my music. (names, albums, album art, artist, etc.)

I cannot find a player to accomplish this. Plus every player seems to import every file that has a sound ext. Even imports game sounds... I can't stand it!

Player Pro has an importing feature "iSync" The description says it imports play lists. Does it import the library or just a play list?

Am I going to have to create my own app? I would rather not write thousands of lines of code.

n7player just release the landscape feature for general release. Looking mighty fine on my prime!

I slapped my prime through a monster set of speakers at the weekend using n7 and the built in equaliser and WOOW! Loving this player so far...

Worth checking out if your in the market for a new player:
