Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

I registered just to let you know how much I enjoy your ROM. It's like it was custom tailored for me, can't wait to see what you do with it in the future.

Also, just an FYI, the "send" button is blank on my text message screen (still functional though). This is with v1.1 (you uploaded v1.2 literally minutes after I first installed 1.1, lol).

Maybe it's because your not checking the box that say Set as Default when you change it..

Next time hit home, pick your launcher of choice and check that box and you should be good.

when i first flashed the rom 2 days ago i checked the luncher pro as default so i was tryin to use home switcher but it kept goin back. now i figured it out, went to settings applications then forced closed it then i hit the home button the box popped up then i chose my launcher :D
i appreciate ur help :)

helpp, i wont seem to let me change the launcher everytime i change it and hit home it goes back to the default one. any idea on how to delete it so i can use my own?
which launcher are you trying to use as default? i can make a flashable zip for you to properly remove launcher pro and install whichever launcher you want..

Not to put you on the spot, but do you think you'll upload a new iteration within a week? If so, I'll just hold off on 1.2, but if 1.3 is a month or so down the way I'll go ahead and reflash. :D
at this point the only reall reason to make 1.3 anythime soon would be to add something or fix something important, but so far seems to be running ok lol so yu can just get 1.2.. plus anything after 1.2 should just be able to flash on top of previous version.. or ill make updates

Thank You, will wait for this...

"i will make an uncenter flashable soon for you guys :D"

ok guys sorry for all the issues.. let me start by saying i promise i didn't alter the calculator.. only changed icon for it but NOTHING ELSE and it is working fine for me.. :/

the kernel will not OC because it's not an OC'able kernel lol it is stock with speed tweaks, flash pg or mt kernel for OC'ing

i will make an uncenter flashable soon for you guys :D

and battery life should be as good as ld-lg.. you just need to manually turn things off when you dont use em.. like data & wifi.. remember wifi in ON by default, there is no setup wizard for you to setup so you must go turn it off yourself and set everything up to save battery, turn brightness down, animations off or some, i deleted 99% of the background crap that usually drains battery & ram

I think the kernel is the one that makes battery life last longer, I'm no expert but that's what I've noticed on my phone. I tried all the ROMs and now running Broken out with ldrifta's speed kernel and I get more than 20hrs on a standard battery.

Can you link me to the speed kernel?

Can I overclock on this kernel running on top of Broken Out Rom?

Quote From LDrifta :) about Speed Kernel

No the speed kernel only has minfree tweaks minfree is the android stock internal task killer, they are a set of numbers that represent how much ram is allowed for a specific use ie: background apps, or hidden apps..

the stock settings are a higher value which means the systems lets more things happen in the background before it starts to cleanup after itself

by lowering these values it forces the android system to keep More Ram available at all times so you will notice windows opening faster and a smoother swappiness with your screen and overall reactiveness will be greater

this is a safe common tweak most developers use for custom roms, there's no scripts re-writing any functions of the rom its just a simple value change..

Just flashed this. Running nicely! Great work once again!!

However, I love to use Go launcher. You are using Launcher Pro it seems. Why did you choose this launcher, just wondering what the advantages are if any or just personal choice?

Also, I added the swype keyboard, but I don't see it themed. This is because i flashed it after I flashed the rom right or did you only theme the default keyboard?

Thanks for another great ROM, love it so far!

I would stay with whatever kernel the ROM comes with for at least 1day to get a feel for battery life. All OC kernels kill battery quick. So depending on what you are looking for, use the one that suits your needs best. I love how the OC kernels make my phone snappy and silky smooth on all tasks, however I prefer longer battery life as I love getting 20+ hrs on a standard battery with ldrifta's speed kernel. I keep going back to that no matter what ROM I'm using.
I have yet to try the latest release(1.2) but I'm flashing it right now and will post results for those that care about battery life instead of speed. Actually the speed kernel also makes my phone feel a lil faster but not as smooth as OC.

Just a question!

LD-LG ZVD 1.7 and I'm getting awesome battery life and everything works perfect, so the question is that is there a way to make that rom look like this one or how do I make a flashable theme or make a theme that kind of looks likes this-one.
Thank You.

if ur using broken out rom u can flash ldrifta ldk t11 theme the only thing on this theme is that u won't have Thu clock in the middle
here u go if ur want it

Rom is real smooth, everythings perfect so far, but I was wondering if there's a way to get all the stock icons for apps back. Some are black & white like camera and gallery and some are colored. I just want to have them all colored like stock. Besides that it's looking great, keep up the good work.

Yes, just long press the icon and it lets you choose default icons or theme icons, etc.

Sorry I forgot to mention I use the tsf shell. I tried using an icon pack in lp and switch to tsf but it just goes back to the black & white icons. Is there like a zip I can flash or something to get the stock color icons back?

Maybe you can get rom toolbox and just uninstall "launcher pro" app?

I installed go launcher and made it default and working fine. You can see launcher pro app in the toolbox if you get that and just erase it and it should work for you.
