Anybody here drop their Moment and have the glass face shatter?

I dropped mine and it landed flat on it's face. picked it up and talk about a major spider web crack.

Funny thing is the touch screen is still totally functional. thank God I got the total protection on it. But I'm still pissed at myself. The insurance shipped out a new one yesterday next day freight. It should be here this after noon.

So anybody else bust theirs like I did yet?

OUCH!

I remember the first time I dropped a PDA and broke the screen. My Sharp Zaurus 5000 fell from the kitchen table face down to the tile floor. I heard the screen shatter. I just stood there looking at it, afraid to pick it up and thought "That's my brain lying there broken on the floor". It took >>12<< weeks for the !@#$ers at the authorized Sharp repair center to fix it. Those were the days...good times!

Yeah. I'm the one that created the post above. If you are handy with electronics, you can fix that with about $30 for the touch screen, and a small screwdriver. That link has another link to an article that pyromatic put up that has good info on how to take it apart.

I had called my local Sprint repair center, and they said that they don't fix that kind of stuff, and they only replace it, and that only if you have the insurance.
